We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this lodge was. The pictures just do not do it justice. We rented the whole lodge out for the week and loved every minute of it. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom which was key for our group. We loved the huge kitchen table where we could all enjoy breakfast, dinner, and games at during the evening. The kitchen is large and well-appointed for all of our needs. Even with a larger group we never had any issues with water pressure or hot water. It is directly reported on the atv trails which is why we vacationed here. It was very convenient!

About the host
Hosted by Khristine or Jameson Boucher
Jameson & Khristine Boucher purchased Deer Mountain formerly known as The Derby's Lodge, which was well known as a local hunting lodge built in the 1930s. The property, surround by beautiful pine and firs, includes 47 acres of land nestled on the Androscoggin River. It was a diamond in the rough and needed much renovation to bring it to the standard that it currently holds today. Jamey is a Local 104 Electrical Lineman, and Khristine is the Lead Mammographer at Androscoggin Valley Hospital. It has been our passion to entertain guests and provide a cozy place to stay for guests and we felt the Lodge was an opportunity to provide much needed lodging to an area that boasts many outdoor activities as well as amazing scenery. We extend a warm welcome to our guests and want them to feel at home when they visit Deer Mountain Lodge.
Why they chose this property
It is the perfect balance of accessibility and remote Country Beauty.
