End Of Summer Getaway

I booked this condo last minute based on a really hot September forecast. The condo had everything I needed. It was large, had a great view of the ocean from the balcony, and even though no A/C, had a nice ocean breeze. If you’re a beach lover like myself, and prefer less crowded vacations. This is the spot after Labor Day! Would book again in a minute!

Week at the beach

We have stayed at a VRBO property before. In this case, it feels like the owner is doing the minimum required. The level of maintenance could be improved I.e. cabinets needing work and an ensuite toilet that flushes and refills so noisily that it is unusable at night. Many missed opportunities such as instructions for the remote controls, suggestions for restaurants in the area. All we had was a single piece of stained paper with the wifi code. And finally someone entered the unit in our absence and during our stay leaving a comforter. Does not inspire privacy and security.

Regarding the unexpected entry into the unit, we take privacy and security very seriously. One of the comforters had not finished drying and it was still right around check-in. They should have knocked first and this has been addressed. Old Orchard on the Beach

The location can not be beat. The contact people for this unit were very responsive to any item I brought to their attention. The only issue was that the check in information on VRBO was no longer accurate but with one text the correct information was received.

Location was great! Love being on the Beach! Nice to be able to see the ocean! I feel the unit could use a painting , clean baseboards in bedrooms. Updates No air conditioning but there is a nice Ocean breeze especially at night . Had to buy fans . Heard train in the middle of the night. I’ts nice to have a kitchen to cook meals . Overall we had a great time!

The condo was very nice. The location is great. It was a bit hot on some days without air conditioning. Beach chairs and lobster utensils would have been helpful.

Perfect location and everything we needed for a great stay. Just removed from the excitement of OOB pier to offer some peace and quiet. The unit was clean and bright. Parking was adequate and we felt safe at all times.
