Hilo Lagoon Centre is a noteworthy mid-century modern building in downtown Hilo. Our condo unit 814 boasts epic views of the Hilo lagoons, the Pacific ocean, and quaint downtown. We invite you to visit our tastefully decorated two-suite condominium for your vacation or work trip. Unit 814 has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite full bathroom. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, a dresser, walk-in closet, SMART TVs, and bedside tables with lamps. Both bathrooms have a vanity sink, toilet, and a shower (one bedroom has a bathtub/shower combo).

The fully stocked kitchen is in the middle of the unit between the bedrooms, ensuring privacy. Cook locally found foods or reheat your fabulous restaurant leftovers. The kitchen is fully remodeled and has all the small appliances you'll need including a microwave, 12-cup drip coffee maker, toaster and blender. Every floor at the Hilo Lagoon Centre has a convenient laundry room (coin operated machines) for your use during your stay. Enjoy coffee or cocktails sitting on any one of the three balconies in the condo overlooking the lagoons. See if you can spot an infamous Nene goose in the gardens below!

This is a centrally located and beautifully landscaped property that overlooks the waiākea pond with the Wailoa river state recreation area in the distance that can be reached over a beautiful arched bridge. The unit was clean and big enough for two adult couples. Having two bathrooms was a bonus, though the master bath needs a little care. This is our second stay in the Hilo Lagoon Center and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Planned to spend 4-nights in The Big Island and chose Hilo because of proximity to what we would be seeing/doing. This condo was a perfect base for our time on the island. Beds/pillows were comfortable, laundry (coin operated) was just across the hall, and even a coffee shop on the first floor. Easy communication with the host made for a seamless trip.

Not quite walkable to the downtown tourist area but you could if you really wanted. Beds and showers were good and we appreciated the beach chairs to take out for adventure. Our only missing item to suggest they add is a coffee grinder in case you want to buy and enjoy some great island grown coffee!

We loved this stay in Hilo. The apartment was excellent, very clean and comfortable, great for our family of 4. Bright and nice view from the balconies. The host was very welcoming. The location is very good as it’s not the middle of downtown, but still close to several restaurants by car. It has a nice coffee shop in the lobby, convenient for breakfast and an also convenient vending machine on the basement of the building. The pool area needs lot of improvement. Hilo is a convenient location to stay if going to Volcano National park and/or waterfalls and still having options for food. Overall I recommend the place.
