This place has great potential for the future. Several areas are under construction/repair. Laundry was closed, Pool restaurant/bar closed on our 3rd day. Pina coladas and food options looked great so I was sad about that. Parking was super expensive. Almost 400 for our 9 day stay. Wi-Fi didn't work for the TV.On the positive, the pool and hot tub were nice and only party under remodel. The beach was easy to walk to. They had nightly music in the bar/restaurant. Steak was good, Great central location. Beautiful tree lined driveway. When everything is fixed and remodeled it will be a great place to stay.

We have stayed at KBR many times now. This was a great unit with an ideal location (very nice to be able to come and go directly through the unit).

Really well situated room at a decent resort. The listing needs to be updated, the laundry room is closed indefinitely. While the main restaurant and lobby are closed for renovation, they have handled it ok. Could be better, as there are some funky routes to get to the existing restaurant and other places, but you can find shortcuts. Part of the pool was closed (the waterfall and cave under it are blocked off), as well as the hot tub. But the other pools were nice. For being under major reno, it's actually quite good and the resort is clean and quiet this time of year. I think we would love to come back after the update.

Perfect location

We had a great view of the pool from this ground floor room. Resort had nice amenities and we even enjoyed a free lei making class. Owner is great at communicating when we had questions. Convenient location to everywhere we were planning on visiting. We would definitely stay again.

Convenient location to airport and jumping off point for all.

This room is located within the Outrigger Kaua’i Beach Club hotel. So, basically a privately owned room at another property. We checked in like regular guests, and were basically told “don’t come to us if there are any issues” and not to partake in any of the hotel activities (such as lei making). Not the warmest reception, but fair enough as it was a VRBO rental. The only issue we had with the property is that the guest laundry onsite was closed (maybe permanently?). We booked this room thinking we’d have the convenience of onsite laundry, instead were told to use a local laundromat to wash our towels. After a little back and forth with the property owner, he had his housekeeper show up a couple of mornings to switch out towels. We greatly appreciated this, as it kept us from wasting hours at a laundromat. Overall, the place was clean and in good working order. The pools onsite were great. The beach wasn’t much, though we went out and checked out different beaches everyday. The beach gear that the owner promised was in great shape and we were pleased to be able to use it. None of this would deter us fro retuning, instead we would likely opt to stay at a different place in the future for variety.
