Arrived after dark to a shady neighborhood. My wife was afraid to stay. A quick google search showed the neighborhood above the state and national property crime average. As we rode around trying to figure out what to do we spoke to a police officer that confirmed the crime rate. 1 in 24 chance of a property crime being committed against you. So do your homework before you stay, we chose not to stay.

Our home is in an historical part of Tupelo with numerous other rental houses in the neighborhood. We have never had an issue with anyone feeling scared or bad things happening such as cars being tampered with or etc. Anything could happen I suppose in any town, but we feel as well as all other guest that have stayed with us that this is a very enjoyable location very close to downtown with a street light right in front of the house and a park and pickleball court.

The Sugar Shack Cottage was a very restful stop for us. It is decorated in a fun eclectic fashion that we really enjoyed. It was well-stocked and the beds were really comfortable. I highly recommend this for a chance to get rested and recharged. I really appreciated the charging ports for our devices and the Keurig coffeemaker. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub.

We had great communication with our host. The home was very comfortable and had extra amenities such as an air fryer, toaster oven in addition to the full kitchen. Great location to restaurants and shops.

This is a great VRBO. It was our respite from the storm , the ice storm. Ah to have hot showers, WiFi, washing machine/ dryer and peace . Well stocked kitchen and comfortable. Comfy beds to boot.

After a 7+ hour drive, the hot tub was fabulous. Hot enough. Decor was fun. Just did an overnight, but would definitely recommend. Host was quick with response. We had 5 in our party. Much more than a hotel.

Was a nice stay and place

Our stay was nice. The place is brand new built last year and very nice. The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. Rhonda was very accommodating and it was a very nice stay. We love Tupelo and will be back for sure.
