A lovely place for nature lovers, paddlers, fisherwomen and men, close to the AuSable at Parmalee, and overlooking Big Creek. We picked blueberries and raspberries, saw wildlife everywhere. A big deck porch and warm interior.

Trout camp

Everything was wonderful. The natural scenery, the cabin itself, very beautiful. Everything was in working order. We really couldn’t find anything wrong. We will gladly look at returning in the future.

Great place. Beautiful property

Everything about this property was beautiful, easy to find, clean and organized. But if you're coming here you will definitely want to have bug spray and tick spray because there is a lot. They come with being in the wilderness so you should expect it, but you should also be prepared. We had an amazing weekend here.

Fantastic cabin

We had an incredible time at the cabin with access to the river and everything listed on the description. The cabin was stocked with a first aid kit, a fire blanket, and the kitchen was overstocked with cooking supplies which we really appreciated. I had never been in a Vrbo stocked with so many useful things! The few cons were that there’s a cabin right next to it which takes a way from the privacy and the restroom had no lock. It’s fine for a family, but because we were family and friends, it made it a little uncomfortable thinking someone could walk in while in the restroom. Overall, it was an amazing stay.

Riverside Gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge. Super clean, great setup, the host has thought of everything! They were very friendly, communicated promptly, and were very accommodating to our specific needs. We really enjoyed the riverside, where the host has set up a couple of chairs and created a very special spot to chill. The fire pit is conveniently close to the house, without being too close. Perfect! We also canoed on the Au Sable, grilled dinner and played board games, the host has provided many of them. All the instructions were very clear, the host has made everything easy and obvious. We had a wonderful dinner at a nearby golf course and wished we had enough time to go back! Overall, we were very pleased with this rental and the great hosts. We wished we had more time to stay. I believe we may be back! Thank you to the amazing hosts for everything and all of the attention to details.

It was absolutely wonderful, and that back porch is so great, and the view of the river just makes it all the better. My mom and Aunt May spent most of their time out there. It was so wonderful no one wanted to leave and go site seeing. Thank you so much. The Rehil family ......... and Sindy
