Despite mother nature getting in our way - we really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful cabin. Wonderful communication with the property manager/owner - she did everything to make us feel at home and even called us ahead of time to tell us bad weather was coming. Highly recommend this place and we would absolutely go back!
My husband and I stayed here, and it was absolutely amazing. The listing is very accurate, and the pictures don’t do this place justice. Kellie is a very attentive host, and even sent us some keys we left there by accident! We are already planning to stay here again on our anniversary because it was such an incredible experience.
We had a wonderful stay! Kellie was awesome and so sweet! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Clean, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be staying again soon!! I highly recommend if you're looking for a cozy, and quiet place to satu
We got to experience West Point’s famous flooding first hand! Kelli was so helpful and the house is so cozy and comfortable. The weather kept us inside but the kitchen was fantastic and we had fun cooking and playing games in the beautiful common area. We would definitely like to come back in the spring or summer!
This property is amazing. My wife and I stayed here and we fell in love with the place. The seclusion and peacefulness was amazing. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you.
We went for my husband’s 40th and had family join us also. The house was perfect and venturing around the property was great for our kids. Lots of barges passing for the kids to enjoy. Kellie our host was super responsive and helpful for any travel needs we had. About 40 minutes to Louisville for all of the their fun restaurants and distilleries but 20 minutes fromGrocery shopping and such. The pictures do not do it justice, it is stunning. Hoping to get back here again.
Absolutely beautiful home and property located in a private remote area. Very close to Fort Knox and about 40 min from Louisville. They provided everything we could possibly need and Kellie is very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again in the future.
This was the perfect retreat! The location and home are stunning. The host could not have been more attentive and gracious. Thank you so much, Kellie 💗
We have traditionally rented a cabin in TN. Wanted to find a place more local. WOW did we find the perfect place. We have found our new get away spot. Perfect does not describe our stay. Kellie was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean, quiet and relaxing. The view of the river was wonderful as well. We will be staying here again. Heck maybe our once a year trip will turn in to multiple trips. Stop scrolling and book this place you will not be disappointed.
The cabin was gorgeous, well appointed and peaceful. Our host, Kellie went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible during our stay. The coffee and snacks were a kind touch and she was very helpful suggesting fun places to see during our stay. We truly wish we didn’t have to come home to Florida - especially after the storm. We were just so comfortable here. Thank you Kellie for sharing your home with us
A lovely cabin and beautiful property. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, watching the barges go up and down the river. The cabin had everything we needed and was a peaceful home away from home for a week. There was an issue with the air conditioning after the first night, but Kelly worked hard to keep us comfortable and make things right until the unit could be fixed. We would definitely recommend this property.

This house is awesome and has an amazing host. So attentive and available to answer any questions.
The location is quiet and about 20 minutes from Fort Knox. Anyone with a cadet stationed there for advance camp I highly recommend this house. Your cadet can easily rest and relax in this secluded gem. In addition there is a full kitchen and outside grill so you can give them a nice meal before you send them back. Absolutely perfect.
There were two things that made our stay extra special - the beautiful home and the host. Kellie, the host, was exceptionally helpful, answering questions (lots of questions) before we even arrived. She gave us suggestions on things to do and places to eat, grocery stores, everything! Then the home itself - so clean, so comfy, so inviting. Kellie took care of every little detail. So grateful that Kellie was there for us and we were able to spend time in her beautiful cabin. Thank you, Kellie!

QUIET, COMFORTABLE, SERENE, PEACEFUL, and WELCOMING are all great words to describe this beautiful property! Our family enjoyed a three night stay in this VERY CLEAN, fully equipped home. The home's owners get an A for excellent hospitality & communication. Located in a SAFE, SECURE, and PRIVATE area, this property is a great place to RELAX and RECHARGE! The covered porch overlooking the Ohio River is the perfect setting to get lost in a book, practice some yoga, enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage, or just sit and watch the river flow by! The property around the home is perfect for quiet strolls, playing fetch with the pups, or tossing a ball with the kids! Our family will definitely be returning for another visit!
I traveled with my husband to the area for an extended weekend to participate in activities at nearby Ft. Knox with our sons. The proximity to Ft. Knox made the back and forth travels super simple and quick.
The property is amazing!! So peaceful and private - the covered porch was the perfect spot to read a book on the porch swing or take a nap or just take in all the sounds and views the surrounding nature and the River provide.
The cabin itself is so charming and no details were missed in providing a “home away from home.” The surrounding fields of sunflowers were an unexpected bonus!!
The communication and friendliness with the owners was fantastic - very quick responses and very flexible with schedules and other accommodations/requests/questions.
Definitely recommend and hope to come back someday!!
Loved our weekend stay at Riverview. Very well decorated and comfortable. Great open space, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and dud friendly! Thanks so much…we will be back!
This is seriously the best vacation rental I've ever gotten. Beautiful property with stunning views out every window. Spotless interior with every amenity you could need. Kellie was so welcoming from the moment we booked, and everything was a breeze. So peaceful and relaxing - good for the soul :)
This property is a slice of Heaven nestled into the Kentucky hills with a spectacular view of the Ohio River. Beauty is evident from every porch and window of this well appointed rustic cabin. The host has thoughtfully provided all amenities needed to give guests the comfort of home while enjoying the quiet fields and wooded areas surrounding the cabin. They were most accommodating and responsive to any needs or questions. If you’re bird/nature watchers, this location does not disappoint! While it seems remote, Louisville and surrounding towns are close enough to provide great entertainment and dining options. We had a memorable week’s stay with family young and old, who all can’t wait to come back again.
