About this property
"THE MAHANOY" 1946 Cozy Craftman Cabin in the woods
“The Mahanoy” has a warm cozy atmosphere bringing people together to enjoy the simple things in life. Our home is a perfect spot to reconnect with a loved one, for a babymoon, or for a couple of amorous bears. We also welcome guests with well trained furry family members.
The space
If a house could hug this one would. It's a place to unwind with simple pleasures. Bring your loved one, your fireside reads and enjoy the wood burning fireplace, multiple dvds or just simply the outdoors.
We have two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen bed as does the second bedroom.
There are many great restaurants in Big Bear Lake Village, but if you want to hibernate and cook instead, our kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, a small refrigerator and a vintage stove which we will provide instructions for.
During the warmer months, in the natural wild backyard you will find a small deck area for lazy brunches and dining under the stars as well as a hammock to lazy in. If you are bringing a pet, please supervise your dog in this area. It can get very dark out there so accompany them during their evening rituals, too.
