In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 6, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 3.

This second-floor villa features three bedrooms and picturesque golf and lagoon views. The villa is only a short 3-minute stroll to the beach, making it a wonderful vacation spot for families and friends.

Large windows and sliding glass doors provide an abundance of natural light and highlight the villa's spectacular view of the golf course. Offering plenty of comfortable seating and a wall-mounted TV, the comfortable living area is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. A seamless open floor plan allows for easy flow and conversation between the living room, dining area, and kitchen.

Featuring chic navy cabinets, plenty of counter space, and bar stool seating for three, the villa's kitchen is sure to please the family chef. The adjacent dining area overlooks the golf course and has dining space for six.

For guests who prefer to dine al fresco, step out to the screened porch. This area has a large outdoor table surrounded by eight chairs. For even more outdoor fun, head to the back deck, where sweeping golf course views await.

The first primary suite is secluded upstairs and has a king bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two additional generously sized bedrooms are located on the main floor. The second primary suite features a king bed, balcony, and a private bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom offers two twin beds and easy access to the hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

The villa is equipped washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

The location was fantastic. Easy walk to the beach & backing to Turtle Point Golf course. It appears the owners have done some renovations to update the unit & bring it up to date, however the quality of the renovations seem to be of a lower quality with uneven flooring, and cabinet doors that don’t fully close. The screened in porch was fantastic & was great for morning coffee or happy hour after the beach. Overall, the unit was good & the location was the best part.

Kiawah Island Marathon Weekend

The renovations looked great! It was convenient for the family to see me go by mile 10 of this year’s course as it was right out the door! Kids loved being so close to the beach. Would definitely come back again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. Even though it had been recently updated, the villa was not in great condition. Pantry door falling off, it did. Screen door falling apart and off its tract. Sliding doors hard to slide open and close. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Some electric outlets are damaged and need to be replaced.

Not Our Favorite Kiawah Accomodation

Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to Kiawah almost annually for over 30 years and have stayed at many villas. This one disappointed us. Location is great, Turtle Beach is our favorite location. The Akers Ellis maintenance staff was most responsive, courteous and helpful when the glass in the sliding deck door broke (due to broken exterior handle). But villa itself was not up to snuff. Although clean in general, it was dated, dingy and worst of all, carpet in living area is badly stained. I would be embarrassed to have guests in my home with a carpet that dirty. Furniture in living area is not comfortable for 6 people, which we had. One sofa and one chair are inadequate. Screened porch is useless during summer months. Similar villas in Turtle Beach have turned the porch into a room and additional seating area which makes the unit much more comfortable, even for two people. If you have two or even four in your party, you'd be comfortable enough. If you have six, go somewhere else. But the carpet MUST BE CLEANED!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in terrible shape! We asked that the dishwasher that fell out of the cabinet when you opened it and the open access door to the attic access be repaired while we were there, and you took immediate care of that, so thank you. But there was also no stopper in tub on top floor, so no taking a bath there. Carpets were dirty throughout, several kitchen cabinet fronts were askew, and all furnishings were very dated and worn. The furniture on the outside deck was an embarrassment, 2 chairs had not been cleaned in months and had standing dirty water in them. One of these chairs was holding the rotten outdoor storage door closed. Kitchen utensils and dishes were minimal. I love you guys, you take great care of our house at 26 Atlantic Beach Court, but this condo is a blight on your otherwise good reputation. If my first rental experience at Kiawah had been with this condo managed by Akers Ellis, then I would not have ever rented from Akers Ellis again.

Wifi Problem

Since a tray table was set up at this spot, that was fine for the laptop, but sometimes would have like to have had more than one device working.

Pros of the unit are:economical rental rate (very reasonable compared to other Kiawah rentals),size of bedrooms & bathrooms (huge!), short walk to beach access, and incredible views from the windows that let in lots of natural light. Cons of the unit are: furniture, carpet, appliances(especially refrigerator) are in need of update. The furniture has several tears and holes in the upholstery. Carpet, even though relatively clean, is looking worn. The unit is very comfortable and homey, but if you are expecting or wanting a "luxury" unit, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, basic, close to the beach unit, this IS the place for you! We will rent the unit again if it is available next year.

The furniture and carpet have not been changed since at least 2000 and both are showing signs of wear. However, we enjoyed our visit and appreciated the convenient beach access and close proximity to the Sanctuary.

The interior furnishings were very worn and faded - not like the photos portrayed - very dusty. stains all over carpet,carpets slippery especially down the staris from master bedroom couches faded badly - not what we thought we were paying for for wife slipped going down stairs from master bedroom, dislocated her ankle, broke it severly in 3 places, required an ambulance ride to hospital, then she had to have surgery, she is still in the hpspital,all over a very poor experience in this property !

Reviewer Comments: Great location with quick, easy access to beach, Sanctuary Hotel, Town Center etc. The downside was that unit is quite worn & in need of thorough cleaning. Kitchen needs major cleaning--utensils in drawers were dirty, some dishes were sticky, top of fridge is dirty, fridge handle has missing piece,ceiling lights are filthy,etc. Cockroach (dead) found in a trash can in bathroom. Furniture is old (visibly worn & armchair has 2" square hole in the arm with foam showing through. Carpeting shows traffic pattern dirt. Some windows would not open, etc. Screened in porch area requires cleaning. Unit has clear potential to be a nice place with some updating & deep cleaning. The deck off LR offers great views of golf course --adding a table to eat off of & more comfortable chairs would be easy & welcome change. Rooms are decent size and plenty of light & cross ventilation with sliding glass doors, but hard to recommend b/c of kitchen being so unclean. The agent we worked with on reservation (Nancy) was very helpful & easy to work with.

Location excellent and setting attractive but noise and lack of privacy are definitely compromises in a condo. Furnishings/equipment were weak but can't expect everything for this price. Needs reading lamps in living room and over beds!!!! Two dining room windows are unopenable. Need repair! The many kitchen knives are uniformly useless and dangerously flimsy. Get one good one and a sharpener!!!

The unit is awful, company responds quickly to problems

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular unit is in poor condition. The refrigerator wasn't cold when we arrived. The rental company brought over a cooler with ice, which helped, but we had just been to the grocery store and now had to shove everything into a cooler. Eventually, when set to the coldest setting, the fridge kept things reasonably, but not optimally cold. When my son was showering, he reached for the soap and the tiled-in soap holder fell off the wall. Behind the tile was soaking wet backer board. The rental company came out and duct-taped plastic to the wall immediately which I appreciated. I had asked that they not perform the repair while we were staying so we wouldn't have to live through repairs while on vacation. The living room couch was badly ripped. There was evidence of delayed maintenance everywhere. The shelf holding glasses in the kitchen was about to fall down. Our vacation was wonderful, and I appreciate the fast response of the rental company, but 4997 Turtle Point Villa is a dud. I would not stay in this unit again, and I would hesitate to rent from Akers Ellis again because I don't know if this unit is representative of their other units.

Our stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this unit. We love the porch and the fact that two bedrooms are removed from the Master Bedroom. In addition, we felt the proximity to the beach was great and the view of the golf course made the stay relaxing and ejoyable. Happy to recomend this unit to anyone else.
