Place was great. No major issues, everything was clean and working. Great communication during the stay. A couple minor annoyances. There are nail pops on the stairs, my son hit one while going upstairs. They should be pounded down. The indoor pool was great though a bit cool and we couldn't adjust temp. There are no screens on the windows, we couldn't open them at night for letting in more bugs, we had a few visitors at night land on us already. There are a couple wasps' nests, one above the hot tub and another one in the rafters on the main floor deck. We loved the sun coming in the main room, but man it can be VERY bright in the morning. It would be great to have some shades around the dining area so the people sitting on the window facing side weren't blinded while having breakfast.

Only downside to this property is there isn't much privacy, you can see into the homes on each side of you and they can do the same including the bedrooms. Management was wonderful, responded fast with any questions, overall beautiful home.

The place was immaculate and just as pictured! Management was quick to respond to my questions and made sure we had a great experience. I gave the location 4 stars instead of 5 because of the construction right next door. The sounds of progress early in the morning and early in the day kept me from sleeping in.

We had a great time at this cabin. The only complaint is that the end of the driveway needs filled in with concrete rather than 2x4s. We had to be very careful when we pulled into the driveway to not flip the boards up and hit our car. Otherwise everything was great! The pool even lights up!

Our stay at Bear Elegance was very disappointing. The property wasn’t clean, and within hours a roach crawled out of the coffee maker, followed by many more on the kitchen counters and cabinets. It immediately made us uncomfortable.The pool — the main reason we booked for our granddaughter — was unusable. The water was cloudy, the heater didn’t work, and the filter was clogged with toys, hair, and debris from previous guests, clearly not maintained or sanitized. Several windows also lacked proper coverings, giving us little privacy inside the home.We responded quickly to management’s request for an update with pictures and videos, but communication felt insincere. They claimed pest control couldn’t treat because our dog wasn’t kenneled, even though she was. We were also uncomfortable with pesticides being sprayed inside while our grandchild and dog were present. The roach issue should not have existed with proper preventive pest control, and the pool was never addressed as promised. It felt like we weren’t a priority.What was advertised as a luxury stay turned out to be dirty, poorly maintained, and lacking privacy. I’m sure management will say this is unusual and want to discuss it privately, but we tried that during the visit with no success. I cannot recommend this property and hope the issues are fixed for future guests.

This is our second year staying at this property. The amenities are great for families and the location is convenient to all attractions in the area. I would say the property isn’t aging well and I hope that the owners think about a different intermediate and longer term maintenance and cleaning plan (it’s obvious certain areas are never touched or cleaned in the property like under the sofa in the theater room and things like constant nail pops on the stairs eve after a maintenance call suggests they may need to review the construction and maintenance quality of the property).
