My husband and I were in the area celebrating our anniversary and his birthday. We had a very nice, relaxing time. Everything was clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay again.
Unique Residence in Beautiful Fredericksburg, Ohio
To relax before the "Library Roll" cycling tour, I stayed at the "Copper Penny," a beautifully renovated bank in the center of town. The accommodations were very impressive, including the study desk located in the original bank vault. The ambiance and local history were perfect, and Fredericksburg is a great town to visit!
Cyclists - this is an outstanding option if you're riding the OTET trail. Located right in downtown Fredericksburg and immediately next door to the also outstanding Lem's Pizza, this is a very well appointed choice for a stay along your journey on the trail. No complaints whatsoever!
We have stayed in many ‘holiday lets’. This one was delightfully unique. The basics were all available — cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishing, congenial and responsive host — all top-notch. But the town added an additional reason to be delighted. There was a little cafe across the street with a ‘mercantile’ store good for browsing. On the corner is a pizza place where you can get a good pizza, ice cream, chicken tenders etc. which is much patronized by local families and other locals a like. The accommodations are tastefully done in keeping with the history of the building but with modern sensibilities. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting an enjoyable ‘escape’. Beth and James
