Tucked away in the rolling hills of northeast Iowa adjacent Yellow River Forest to enjoy trout fishing, public hunting land, hiking, and trails for horseback riding & snowmobiling. Within driving distance of local shops in historic Marquette, Harper's Ferry, Lansing, McGregor and Prairie De Chien, WI along the Mississippi River. Enjoy evenings with friends and family enjoying the large yard and fire pit. 4 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, central air, smart tv, wifi.

We loved the rural location and the beauty of the countryside. We enjoyed being close to the Mississippi, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We also enjoyed the many access areas for fishing. The house was a great place to relax after busy days!

Comfortable and Accommodating

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here while we were in the area visiting family. The kitchen was well-stocked with cook/dinner-ware and the dining room had a nice big dining table so it made for a convenient location to host a family dinner. The beds were very comfortable and I really enjoyed the screened in porch. We'll likely book here again the next time we plan a visit to the Waukon area.

Loved the remote location.

We love being out in the country for our weekend getaways with our family and this area was beautiful to drive through. The house was nicely furnished and very cute inside. It also had great internet! We traveled quite a few miles to do stuff and found some interesting things in the area. Had a great time!!

Farm oasis

My family and I plus a few friends stayed at this farm oasis. What a beautiful place this was. Coming thru Waterville and up the bluff to this farmhouse was a beautiful view. This house had just about everything you would need. Very comfortable and such a great place to unwind and unplug. The stars at night are spectacular! Definitely recommend staying here!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We came to this property for a ladies retreat with eight ladies. The house is very charming and well-stocked. The beds were comfortable. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the wrap around porch and playing yard games in the big yard. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely a great choice if you're looking to disconnect and getaway.
