Excellent!
Very nice location. Very secluded and quiet. The house was just as described. No complaints, we enjoyed our stay!
Our two families have been going to be the beach for a decade and a half and this is the best beach house we've experienced! The deck overlooking the beach was amazing, house was spacious, kitchen well equipped, and beach was wonderful for swimming, walking and relaxing. Tide Therapy, indeed!
House layout was great. Very well stocked kitchen. Location good. Couldn’t get any closer to the gulf. Be very careful of the driveway. If you go off either side into the sand you will get stuck!
Would definitely stay here again.
This house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you will need for a nice cozy, comfortable stay! The deck has great chairs to sit and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets! The only thing there isn’t is beach chairs so bring them if you want some.
We’ve stayed in several vacation homes and this by far has been the cleanest we have stayed in. We are looking forward to coming back.
February is a bit chilly but warm enough to enjoy long walks on the beach!
Thank you for sharing your home!

Thank you for your review. So glad you enjpyed your stay!
The house was great. Needs some new unscratched non sticks pans. Also the large rocks at the bottom of the stairs road side is a real trip hazard for myself at 60, my mother 83 and my granddaughter 3. Overall, it’s was nice. Wish the weather had been nice. It was cold 😕

I just ordered some new pans! Thanks for the heads up.
Great place to stay! They do say in the description that you need to bring paper goods and trash bags etc so this isn't a complaint, I'm just reiterating for anyone who hasn't read the listing completely and is only looking at reviews - BRING PAPER TOWELS AND TRASH BAGS AND DISH SOAP AND SHAMPOO AND REGULAR SOAP!! There was one roll of paper towels and a trash bag in each trash can and a small hand soap in each bathroom to start.
Great views of the water, we saw dolphins every singe day while we were there. Kitchen had everything you'd need to cook meals, which you may find yourself doing.
All in all I'd definitely stay at this property again!!!!
Beautiful house literally right on the water! Gorgeous water, sunrise, and sunset views! Property manager was wonderful and very flexible with a family emergency that came up just as we were leaving for vacay. Only a few little hiccups we ran into.
1. After hours check in: Took about 15 min to unlock the after hours key holder when we arrived as the numbers were "sticking" and we couldn't enter the code.
2. Upon arrival: There was a trash wrapper left in the trash can. One of the bedrooms had what appeared to be crumbs on the floor. We had to hunt down the "welcome information binder". Didn't find it until day 2 after some serious hunting.
3. House: We tripped a couple times on the concrete remains in front of the outside stairwell - be careful there.
Overall the trip was amazing! The house was clean and comfortable, perfect location right on the water, not one of those little hiccups would deter me from staying here again, just offering some helpful tips. :) Highly recommend getting yourself some Tide Therapy!
The house was just as advertised. It was clean, spacious and located at the gulf’s edge. My family spent 7 days with gulf breezes and sand under our feet. We fished, and talked and cooked great food. There as plenty of space to adventure and enjoy, we’ll certain be back in the future.
The house and location were wonderful and as described. We drove so we brought beach chairs and towels. As someone mentioned, no beach chairs were provided. Maybe some cheap bag chairs could be stored in a container on the deck. Beach towels would be good for people flying in. The pans weren't non stick and we cooked a lot so there was a lot of soaking and scrubbing to clean them. These are just notes for future visitors. Having said this, the 6 of us agreed that this was one of our best vacations! Had a wonderful time. We actually booked again for next year. The deck chairs were very nice! Totally enjoyed our week!
We had a great visit in this beach house! The island is a wonderful getaway and the beach access was great! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We plan to return and stay in the same house!
This was just like home. Kitchen had everything you could think of. Plenty of blankets and towels. Location was perfect. No houses in front of you. We will b back only next time for two weeks. Highly recommend this house!
The pictures don't do justice for how nice the house is! Fully stocked, super clean! Beautifully decorated, and that covered deck is so perfect for family time! Definitely will be back soon!
Loved it all
Except last day I got stung by a stingray on the edge of water

Oh NO!! So sorry to hear that.. but glad you and your foot made it out okay! Glad you enjoyed the house.
Our family of 6 enjoyed this property so much. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. It was spotlessly clean. There was enough room for all of us without being in each other's way. Of course, the beach was amazing as always. There was absolutely nothing that we needed that was not provided. The wireless was sketchy but we were warned ahead of time that it was sporadic. Furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. What more could anyone need?

Amazing
We had a wonderful week at the beach! Tide therapy was gorgeous and steps away from the water. The kitchen had everything we needed; a wide variety of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, Tupperware and appliances! The house was spacious and we loved the large deck. We can’t wait for our next stay at Tide Therapy!!

Amazing view
The house was beautiful. It was nicely decorated and well-kept. There were plenty of furnishings in the kitchen and lots of area to seat people in the dining area. The beach is very private and the ocean is a stone throw away from the deck. You couldn't ask for more from a beach house.
We had one small hiccup while staying and the amazing people at Dauphin Island Real Estate took great care of us and resolved the problem right away. I can't say enough good things about the people at Dauphin Island Real Estate.

Beautiful home
This was our fifth time back to Dauphin Island. The weather was colder than our pevious stays, but that can't be helped. The home pictured is just as it was. No concerns or issues during our stay. The kitchen could have stocked hotpads, maybe a few pieces of Tupperware etc, otherwise had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, beautiful views, would recommend staying in this home.

Beautiful Home!!!!!
This was an absolute jewel! We loved it but we did have one complaint. The available direct tv service was terrible. It was not user friendly at all. Our only suggestion to the owner is change your cable company. We had TV service only one day of the seven we were there. We were not there for the television, but we did have a toddler who would have benefited from it.

Dauphin Island Real Estate
Why they chose this property
Dauphin Island, a wonder of nature and full of history is a barrier island on the Gulf . The population is about 1,300. The town is included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. The island was named for Louis XIV's great-grandson and heir, the Dauphin. Our 'laid-back' atmosphere is prized by folks who enjoy serenity and natural beauty.
The eastern, wider portion of the island, is shaded by thick stands of maritime pine trees, but the narrow, western part of the island features scrub growth and few trees.
Dauphin Island is home to Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, The Estuarium public aquarium, the Dauphin Island Airport, boat ramps, a fishing pier located on the Island's eastern end, historic sites, several restaurants. Beaches attract tourism, and fishing is a popular activity in the waters around the island. The island is connected to the mainland by a 3.5 mile long bridge.
Although the entire island is a bird sanctuary, the main one is the 164-acre Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Dauphin Island is the first landfall encountered by many birds as they migrate north from Central and South America, and as a consequence many species can be found resting there before continuing their journey.
In 1519, the Spanish explorer Alonso Álvarez de Pineda was the first documented European to visit, staying long enough to map the island with remarkable accuracy.
The island's French history began on January 31, 1699, when the explorer Pierre Le Moyne, sieur d'Iberville, D'Iberville later decided to locate a port for Fort Louis de La Louisiane (Mobile). Fort Gaines on the eastern tip of the island was built between 1821 and 1848. It was occupied by Confederate forces in 1861, and captured by Federal troops during the Battle of Mobile Bay. The phrase, 'Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead,' was spoken by U. S. Admiral David Farragut just a few hundred yards from Dauphin Island's shore.
We love 'The Island' as much as we know you will!
What makes this property unique
The old walled Fort Gaines is on the east end of Dauphin Island. A ferry from nearby Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores brings both vehicles and pedestrians to the island. One of the closest attractions to the ferry dock is The Estuarium, located at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab...a fresh- and saltwater aquarium highlighting species native to coastal Alabama.
