About this property
Beautiful Chalet with a Picturesque View of Nason Ridge
Spoil your loved ones with this beautiful oasis surrounded by trees and mountain views! Guests will be able to enjoy quiet mornings out on the wraparound deck with a fresh cup of coffee and head back out each evening and fire up the gas grill for a cookout in the great outdoors! The warm wood accents, a wood-burning stove, and high ceilings make this home feel like a rustic mountain lodge, while the modern decor and appliances give you all of the comforts of home and more. Step into the full kitchen when everyone builds an appetite and whip up warm meals to fill the hole after a long day of shredding on the slopes nearby! When it is time to settle down for the night, guests can stargaze with a warm drink, play a game of foosball, or simply watch a favorite movie on one of the many flatscreen TVs! With plenty of accommodations no one has to be left behind on this trip!
What's nearby
You'll find plenty of exciting adventures nearby such as hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Stevens Pass Nordic Center is only 10 miles west with groomed, powdery runs, ski and snowboard lessons, and plenty of trails. Less than 13 miles away, you'll find Lake Wenatchee, where you can enjoy swimming, hiking, mountain biking, freshwater fishing, boating and waterskiing, and even kiteboarding. 20 miles south, the Bavarian-style city of Leavenworth is a treasure trove of breweries, spas, boutiques, and amazing restaurants - be sure to plan a day trip to explore everything Leavenworth has to offer!
Getting Around
The Chalet is located right off Highway 2 between Merritt (to the west) and Nason Creek (to the east). Heading east, you can connect to northbound Route 207 in Coles Corner to find Lake Wenatchee. Heading west, you will reach Stevens Pass Mountain Resort in 15 minutes when roads are clear. Leavenworth is 20 minutes south of your front door.
Always check WSDOT (Washington State Department of Transportation) for road conditions and weather and construction delays before driving along Route 2.
Life at the Chalet
While a world of adventure awaits you, you may also never want to leave. The chef’s kitchen is fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, silverware and serving ware. Whether you’re grilling up a fresh catch, a haul from a local market, or food you’ve brought from home, you will have a great time preparing and enjoying your meals here. A spice rack and cooking oil is also provided.
If you feel like getting “snowed in”, there are plenty of things to do. Local, expanded basic, and some premium Direct TV channels are available, along with a DVD library. The rec room is stocked with classic board games, darts, a foosball table and a pinball machine. Outside, a classic tree swing awaits kids and is perfect for proposals and private romantic moments. No matter what time of year, you’ll want to step out onto the chalet’s wraparound porch, kill the house lights, and view a million stars. Winter conditions may apply.
Our beds feature new, memory foam mattresses and luxury linens. Bathroom closets come stocked with fluffy towels and are appointed with a variety of soaps, lotions, shampoo and conditioner and other basic toiletries.
If you forgot your beach towel, no worries, we have several for you to use.
The laundry room is at your disposal to wash and dry swimwear, ski apparel, and muddied hiking clothes. Stain remover, HE detergent, and fabric softener is provided.
Internet Access in Nason Ridge
Part of the appeal of a Nason Ridge retreat is unplugging from the modern world and reconnecting with nature, culture, family and friends.; but you can still check your email, news and weather reports while you’re here. Internet access is available through the Starlink system, and most wireless networks have signals along Route 2 in this area. Streaming video services like Netflix, Prime and Hulu can be spotty, but streaming music services tend to work just fine.
Things to know:
Satellite WiFi
Full kitchen (w/ dishwasher)
Private gas grill. *The grill is not be available in winter months because of winter conditions.
4WD/traction may be required in winter. The parking area is plowed regularly and the driveway is directly off Hwy 2 which is maintained by the Dept of Transportation.
There is a Ship Ladder inside leading to the Gameroom floor. It is a ladder, not stairs. It is safely behind a closing, locking door. See a pic of the ladder in the photos. However, there is an entrance door with mud area on the lower floor for those not wishing to use the ladder.
For security, this property uses cameras covering the driveway, parking area, and entrances. Sound can be heard in these areas. There is no video or sound recording in any part inside the home or anywhere else not listed above. Recordings automatically delete after a short period of time. None of your guest information is stored or kept
The nightly rate is for 5 included guests. There is a small apartment on the grounds that has no access to the Chalet’s amenities.
Chelan County STR Permit #000817.

About the host
Hosted by Dawne Fidecaro

Our family currently lives full-time in West Seattle, we have 2 beautiful girls who go to school on Vashon Island and we like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. We enjoy camping, skiing, snowboarding, playing on the water, and seeing as much live music as we possibly can.
I grew up in Kirkland, WA and my husband grew up in San Diego, CA. We met each other at CU in Boulder, CO where we shared a love of music, dancing and the outdoors. We moved to Seattle in 2002 and purchased this rental investment in December 2018. We're so excited to start this new adventure in the Cascade Mountains!
