good value for a short stay

The Holiday House is in a good location, with close walks to the beach and stores and restaurants next to Stickney Point Rd on Midnight Pass. It is small but nice with screened porch and pool. We would stay there again.

Siesta key stay

This place is perfect for a beach getaway. It’s a block from the beach and a mile from several restaurants. The pool in the backyard was perfect after the day at the beach to relax. Would definitely come back again!

Nice place and great location.

Lovely place. Had everything we needed. Short walk to gorgeous beach. New bathroom was nice...lack of shower stall door or curtain is a weird choice, but certainly not a deal breaker!

A beach getaway with my daughter.

My daughter wanted to celebrate her 16th birthday at the beach. This was the perfect place for us. Walking distance to the beach and close to everything. We loved it!!

Great location by beach on a quiet street

We loved our visit. The rental had what we needed to cook some meals. The screened porch gave us a place to unwind and take in the outdoors without any bugs. They had great chairs, coolers,toys,ect for use at the beach (which was a couple minute walk).We would absolutely stay again.

Nice, clean place at the beach

I enjoyed this accommodation. Walking distance to beach, food, entertainment. That said, the location is quiet. Could hear the party upstairs a bit, but it wasn’t an issue. I would return.

Great stay. I would return.

Mostly quiet neighborhood. Easy and quick access to beach. Was concerned about no door on the indoor shower. It was difficult to not get entire floor wet. Was below family that had heavy footsteps, otherwise the stay was fantastic. I would recommend to family and friends.

Lovely location

This property was comfortable for 3 people, with a beautifully updated bathroom and kitchen. The interior was clean and comfortable, but the exterior hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while, leaving a musty smell on the screened porch and a dirty pool deck and furniture. Overall, it was very nice with easy beach access, as well as convenient location to small shops, restaurants, and trolley line.

Thank you for choosing Holiday House - 1 as your vacation accommodations. March is when the large oak trees on the property pollinate and lose their leaves. The pool deck etc is then cleaned after this seasonal event. Pool is cleaned two times per week. There is a skimmer net to remove any leaves between cleanings.

This unit is located on the first floor with a patio leading out to the pool. Being one of 4 units there is the chance you may encounter other guests though this is the first time this has been mentioned in 2 years since we started renting the property.

Great location for family beach trip!

Solid 4.5 stars due to location and the inside being exactly as described so rounded up. The location was great for a quick walk to the beach, and my family loved snorkeling at Point of Rocks. Since there was no parking at this beach access, the beach didn't get too crowded. Inside the apartment, everything was as described. A couple of minor fixes would be nice (hooks in the bathroom were loose and the closet door sticks) but overall, it was great. The only two bigger negatives were the shower and the curtains on the patio door. Without a shower curtain or door, water just got everywhere, and we ended up using the towels to mop up daily. Good thing the washer onsite was free. The curtains on the patio doors were not wide enough so there were gaps, and people could see in from the pool area. This was not a huge deal but can be a little unnerving. Overall, we enjoyed our time there!

Excellent Customer Service

This is the second time we've rented this same unit and love it. It's a super close walk to the beach, clean, and has what we need. The screened in patio and pool out back are a perfect solution if you need to get away from the beach for an afternoon. Not to mention the customer service is outstanding! We had a small concern after we had already checked out. I sent the manager a message and got an immediate response. They resolved the issue and let me know right away. I would rent this unit again in the future for sure.

Condo was very clean, cute and cozy and great location to the beach which we love, 2 short blocks away. Pool was super warm for a day then everyday after continued to get cooler and to cold to go in! I did call and leave message regarding this problem and no call back or change in temperature of pool. Other then that we would recommend this condo!

Thank you for your stay at the Holiday House 1. This 1 bedroom 1 bath unit is located about 500FT from the sands of Siesta Key Beach. This property has 4 units all sharing a pool. During the winter the pool is set to heat 82 degrees keeping in mind this is an outdoor pool exposed to the elements the temp may fluctuate depending on the weather. We received a few calls from guest residing in the other units regarding the temp of the pool our property managers went over to the property and discovered the heater was turned to a wrong setting. We cannot control when guest take it upon themselves to "fix" things on their own. When this issue was reported our team was able to resolve it promptly.

Perfectly Fine

Holiday House 1 was a perfectly fine place to stay; it’s a small but very comfortable and functional unit, in a good quiet neighborhood, and most importantly is only a short walk to the beach. It is not really a “high end” unit and has a few little issues, none of which particularly bothered us. The lack of a shower curtain has been mentioned often in prior reviews and it’s silly they haven’t addressed it - but if they don’t mind a bit of water on the floor, then we didn’t mind either…30 seconds with a towel and all’s good. The fanlight in the bedroom is missing a couple of globes, but the light works fine. The beach chairs provided were kind of sketchy, etc. The dishwasher and a/c are loud - but you get used to it. Again, all minor items that didn’t bother us. The pool in the back is shared with the other units but is nice and peaceful. We really enjoyed it after soaking up sun on the beach, which is only a short block and a half away. The kitchen is nice, and is reasonably stocked for a rental unit, although no “staples” (oil, spices etc). Unit is nicely sized for 2 - might be a bit tight for more. Bedroom is small, but has good built-in drawers, and the bed is pretty comfortable overall. My biggest gripe was the pricing listed - the total nightly cost ended up being over half again more than advertised price when taxes fees etc, were added on, which put the unit at a more premium price in my opinion. The communication with agency beforehand was very good - and we never had any issues during the week that we needed to call for. Overall, the place worked out perfectly fine for us. Given the bottom line price, I might look at a slightly more “premium” place next time, but we absolutely enjoyed our stay, and I would have no qualms whatsoever with staying here again.
