The property is secluded and peaceful! The driveway is rugged from rain ruts and needs work on the main drive in(gutter showing and cracked with water running over the dirt road, definitely best to have a lightweight awd vehicle). Had mold on shower ceiling, and lots of dust on ceiling fan. Overall it was a beautiful cabin and very comfortable and peaceful! Price for 1 night on a Sunday during non peak tourist season was pricy.

Love Ruidosa and the cabin is in a great location to all the shops. Hopefully they will get the fireplace working soon. But much better and more comfortable than staying at a hotel.

Nice cabin, decent location. Couple of things: the sole road heading in looks incomplete and was a little risky looking to our non-outdoorsy selves. As of summer 2026, be careful, especially if you drive a wide vehicle. Also, the fireplace didn't work, not the end of the world but it's advertised as an amenity and they don't tell you it's broken until they message you literally the day prior to check-in. They also advertise a "Jacuzzi" but it's literally just a small corner tub with jets lol, BUT you can see that in the pics so it's not like they're hiding it.But really, those are the only gripes and they're minor overall. The cabin itself is spacious and bedding/couch are nice, you'll enjoy yourselves for sure.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The space is super cozy! The peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing escape, and we loved spending time on the porch taking in the views. Communication with the host was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay and once we were checked out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Cabin was the perfect size for 2 people. Area was quiet, surrounded by pine trees. Close to downtown Ruidoso while at the same time seeming far away due to being surrounded by nature. Cabin was equipped with everything you need for the kitchen, bath, bed and grill. Gas grill and coffee maker with both Kcup and brewing. The only negative would be that the fireplace was not operational. We would definitely stay again.
