Unique amenities such as a Steinway grand piano and a ping-pong table make this home truly special, offering entertainment for guests of all ages. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, while wireless internet, cable TV, and a washer and dryer add everyday convenience. The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms—two with queen beds and one with two twin beds—and offers 2.5 bathrooms for added comfort. The home was exactly as described. It was spacious and the design of the home allows for so much light which was lovely. The kitchen had all one needed to prepare meals. The porch was an added bonus. The only issue we had was the new home being built in the adjoining neighborhood. There was constant banging from 7am - 4pm, including on the weekend. That said, we enjoyed staying in this home.

Lovely location

The house is very nice with enough space to give everyone some privacy. The kitchen table is large enough for everyone to have meals together. The location was perfect for us because we recently sold my mother-in-laws’s house nearby and were celebrating our 50 years of memories. We love Wellfleet.

Issue was resolved. Would recommend clearing a couple more tress near the driveway to make access a little easier very tight with large suvs and van. Within a short driver of most beach’s and Cities. Loved Arnold’s. Yarmouth sand sculpture tour is a must!! Helen H out of Hyannis for group fishing.

However, the one thing we had a problem with was the uncomfortable queen size bed on the first floor. It is so thin and hard. Using the room on the second floor isn't an option. I"m not sure if that bed is much better. Aside from that, we loved the place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were quite happy at this location on the Cape. Everything was as described, and it was a quiet respite. We weren’t on a schedule requiring summer beach passes, so that wasn’t an issue. Marconi Beach is a drive, not walk or bike location, but it was beautiful to see. The house was clean, and comfortable. I would be aware that the furniture is very futon styled, and the beds required a few days to recover from, but overall, we were quite happy with this rental. It’s a great location for anyone who wants to be a little out of the center of things.

Wanted to park in street to avoid damaging our cars but it’s a narrow road where you can’t. They seriously need to take some of those trees down!! We would stay again but not unless they improve the driveway!

Solid house

Pros: Well built house. Open beam so beautiful. Interior is very new. Hard wood floor. Lots of privacy in wooded area. Deck. Outdoor shower. Piano. Cons: Not every bedroom has AC. Only one bed room and piano room has AC. There is Another one window unit we grabbed from basement and put in one of the bedrooms second floor. It could be hot in summer with the open beam house. Mosquitoes outside of the house. Maybe considering get it serviced before you check in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home is well appointed in nice location but there are TREES in the middle of the driveway, very awkward maneuvering in and out. Even removal of 2-3 trees would make all the difference! We received a call from the rental agency at 10:00 am advising we needed to vacate, all rentals are usually 10:00 we missed that and were told there may be an extra charge for cleaning! My husband informed me the cleaning staff waited 5 min for him to put the bike rack on his car. A little too aggressive attitude from the young lady from BH who placed the call. iA simple knock on the door by the cleaners was all that was necessary.

Hi Ellen! thank you for coming back to Newcomb Heights Rd and a 2nd review for the property. Similar to your booking last July, our lease agreements have a 9:30am check out time for many reasons. It takes a lot of planning to quickly turn properties over and to make ready for the next guest. We are sorry we reached out to you after 10:30 about being there late, but the housekeepers were blocking access on the road for the rest of the neighborhood and other homeowners and vendors were trying to access other properties. There may be restrictions on removing trees as it is so close to the national park boundaries, but we will again share your comments.

Lovely space to share with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife's family has been coming to Wellfleet since her mother was a child. The family built a vacation home there that we shared until it was sold in 2016. We managed renting the house through another service, so I think we understand what it feels like to share your family home. This house feels like a special spot for the family that owns it.We stayed here along with our son's family, including our 6mo and 2yo grandchildren. Spending a week with young ones can be noisy, but we found that the house gave us plenty of room to spread out when we wanted to. Although the bedrooms are a little tight for space, we found the house to feel much larger than the pictures indicate.The furnishings are modest but reasonably comfortable. The kitchen was equipped by people who like to cook and not just order out every night. The deck is large and a relaxing spot for lounging.It's a 25 minutes walk to Wellfleet Center so it's a quiet location. We had turkeys stroll through the yard every day and at one point I spotted a fox bounding through an adjacent yard.Pros:Space to spread out, well-equipped kitchen, central ac if neededCons: Narrow driveway means negotiating carefully around trees, small load washing machine made it difficult to wash all the mattress pads before check out (which was also a requirement we never encountered before).

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is spacious, the location is lovely, and outdoor shower delightful. Like most Cape rentals, the house has a musty odor. We took allergy meds to cope. It could have been cleaner. The downstairs bedroom had a filthy mattress cover, topped by a coverlet, which we could only assume was also unwashed. We slept upstairs in the room with the wall unit air conditioner.
