Other things to note 1.) Check-in is at 4pm Check-out at 10am 2.) We provide smart TVs to stream your favorite shows 3.) Hot tub is drained & professionally cleaned before and after each guest 4.) Flight of steps to reach front door (approx 28), but otherwise very easy mobility around space main living area 5.) Parking for up to 4 vehicles 6.) No smoking or vaping in the cabin 7.) We are surrounded by trees. While this is peaceful, it does mean you will encounter bugs, insects, spiders, leaves, pollen, small twigs. Pollen and leaves will settle on outdoor furniture and decking. During the colder months, small wildlife critters (such as mice) may attempt to reach warmth inside the cabin. Nature tries to make itself cozy. While the house is professionally cleaned, keep in mind the house is still a mountain cabin amongst nature and wildlife. 10.) In extreme cold weather, the hot tub is designed to maintain a cozy temperature between 100°F and 104°F when the cover is on. However, when the cover is off, the water temperature will naturally drop 5 degrees per hour due to exposure to the cold air. This is completely normal and part of how hot tubs work! To keep the water warm for your enjoyment, we recommend limiting the time the cover is off when the tub is not in use 11.) For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing the trip insurance offered during reservation, as we are unable to provide refunds for weather-related events, road conditions, or power outages during inclement weather. 12.) After booking, guests will be required to complete a short rental agreement for insurance, safety, and local compliance purposes. This includes providing the primary guest’s full legal name, contact information, permanent mailing address, and government-issued ID.
This requirement applies to all guests equally and helps us ensure a safe and well-maintained stay for everyone.

About the host
Hosted by Amy - available throughout your stay. I respond quickly through the platform
Hi, I’m Amy! I’m a nurse practitioner and dementia educator turned short-term rental host, mom of three boys, and wife to a talented carpenter who helps bring many of our renovation dreams to life. Hospitality is a big part of who we are. After caring for my mother through her journey with Alzheimer’s, our family needed space to breathe, heal, and reconnect. So we bought a small mountain home years ago that eventually grew into a passion for creating meaningful getaways for others.
I’m originally from Kentucky, and when I’m not working on one of our rentals, you’ll probably find me hiking, exploring local restaurants, or meeting with a dementia caregiver (I am a dementia/ALZ caregiver coach).
My husband and I personally design, rehab, and manage all our properties. We put a lot of heart into the details because we genuinely want families to feel at ease the moment they walk through the door.
Hosting isn’t just a business for me. it’s a way to offer families the same thing the mountains gave us: a place to slow down, make memories, and remember what matters. Whether you’re here for adventure, rest, or a little bit of both, we’re grateful to share a space where you can reconnect with the people you love.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood sits in the heart of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, where nature and fun blend perfectly. One minute you’re on a trail listening to a rushing stream, and the next you’re enjoying a mountain coaster, a great meal, or grabbing an ice cream on the Parkway. We love that it’s peaceful enough to feel tucked away, but close enough to everything that families never run out of things to do.
What I enjoy most about this location is how effortless it is for guests to make memories. Whether you’re here for Dollywood, hiking, shopping, or simply relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee while the mountains wake up. It all feels easy from here. This area has been special to our family for years, and we love sharing a little piece of it with yours.
What makes this property unique
Misty Morning was designed with families in mind; from the big conveniences down to the tiny details. One of our favorite features is the custom bunk room: six built-in twin bunks, each with its own reading light, charging station, and cozy privacy. Kids absolutely love it, and parents do too because it keeps everyone happy, plugged in, and sleeping well after a long day of exploring.
Another unique perk is the location. You can actually walk to the mountain coaster and the Parkway, which means you can grab breakfast, hop on a ride, enjoy the shops, or stroll to dinner without ever getting in the car. In the Smokies, that kind of convenience is rare and guests tell us it completely changes their trip.
We’ve also added thoughtful touches throughout the home; comfortable bedding, a fully stocked kitchen, a welcoming living space, and outdoor areas where families can unwind. Misty Morning blends the cozy feel of a mountain retreat with the fun, convenience, and walkability of being right near the action, making it a place where families can truly relax, reconnect, and create memories that last.
