Hi Patricia, Im so sorry you had a bad experience in another property. You book our property 2 months prior (Jan 11 for be exact), not last minute. It is really important to be sure when we are leaving a review, espcially not a good one, that we are raiting the right property. Once is given is no turnin back, no matter is an error.

Our cleaning team, the most reliable on our small island (fewer than 2,000 residents), cleans between 11am and 3pm when we have a turnover. The manager missed the turnover notification and they scheduled the lady after 3pm. We were in constant communication and, as a gesture of goodwill, refunded the cleaning cost—even though the overall booking was under $250 (taxes and platform fees included). We understand your desire for a full refund and appreciate your input. To ensure a smoother experience for future guests, we’ve just implemented an AI system (Breezeway) that automatically notifies our cleaning staff about reservations, check-ins, and check-outs. We are working really hard and we are taking all the measurements to avoid this situation in the future. Our guests experience is our primary goal. Regarding the shower, we’ve consistently experienced proper water flow when the faucet is closed correctly—our instructions on usage are provided for your convenience. For the ant situation, please note that during our two-night stay after your visit, our monthly fumigation was completed, and we observed only four ants. Occasional ant sightings are part of Caribbean living, which is why we have a dedicated exterminating service scheduled monthly. We also acknowledge the minor leak in the kitchen ceiling during rain, which has been reported to the building management and is being addressed. Lastly, the futon conversion instructions are clearly posted on the wall; we regret that this wasn’t noticed and would have been happy to assist had we been informed. We appreciate your input and are committed to continuously improving our guest experience.

Hello David, Could you be more specific about what kind of work this apartment needs? Repellents are offered for our guests. The apartment is fully screened. Guests should be aware of not leaving doors open to avoid this. The stray animals case is at court.
