Family Game Room w/ bar and poker table, w/ 60" smart tv. Leather furniture and queen pull out sofa. 1st floor laundry. 2 twin cot beds. 2nd Floor: 2 king bedrooms off living room that features 55"' TV with firestick, cable, dvd, lounge sofas and games. HUGE Patio overlooking the lake from 2nd floor landing, sunbathing chairs and patio table for 10. 3rd floor: King bedroom has private deck/entrance, jacuzzi tub for 2, step in shower, private bathroom. Whole house is 5,500 sq. ft !! Lake access from Private deck and dock. Fire pit. 4 Kayaks and Row Boat. Patio furniture. Luxurious bedding and bath towels provided. Wonderful summer family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Chris’s property with 6 adults and 3 small children. There was plenty of space, beautiful views from everywhere in the house, and a nice outdoor area for the kids to play. We are planning to come back next summer!

We had an amazing weekend on Owasco lake. The Bridesmaids had a ton of room to get ready with a huge kitchen, living room and dining area. It also had a 10/10 view of the lake. Very clean and comfy.

The Lakeside Chalet

Lovely, comfortable and very spacious. If you wanted to gather together or find a space for quiet time, there is a space for you. We went paddle boating, had cocktails on the second story deck, steaks on the grill and then had s’mores in the fire pit at night. The stars are incredible and so clear.

Perfect Wedding Weekend

We had a fantastic wedding weekend on Owasco Lake. We were able to have our family stay close to the wedding venue. The house was very clean and so spacious, we held our rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast in the huge kitchen/living/dining area. It was perfect for our group of friends and family with a beautiful view of Owasco lake. 10/10 excellent!

Sisters Wedding-Family Weekend

Place was nice. Tons of space which was key for our family. Biggest complaint was there is no central air and the space was 88-90 degrees upon arrival. They had window units in bedrooms and portable cooling units in common areas. Not nearly big enough to cool the entire space. We reached out to the host and they added a couple of portable units while we were out for rehearsal dinner. Overnight the space cooled down to a manageable temperature so the wedding party could get ready the next day. Nice place overall.. host was responsive / helpful.

The View Alone is Worth It

This house was a lot of fun for a group of us in town for an Ironman event. The view is gorgeous and the time spent on the dock was memorable. We were able to get some swims in and enjoyed the use of the kayaks and stand up paddleboard. The kitchen was large and well stocked and had everything we needed. Nikki was very responsive to any needs we had and made check in and out a breeze. Definitely recommend this house.

graduation weekend

family gathered at the lake house for my daughter's graduation weekend. Lots of room for all of us to be together. Wish we had more time to use more of the facilities. Living room was a little warm, but it's a huge room with a very high ceiling. For some reason there were a lot of flies by the front window, but they stayed there and didn't bother us. Over all it was a great weekend.

Perfect home for our family reunion!

We rented Chantelle Marie Lakehouse for a small family reunion. The first floor master bedroom was great for the older member of our family. All bedrooms have their own private bath. The gourmet kitchen was well appointed and spacious enough for multiple people to work in at the same time. The property has an open floor plan which was great for visiting with each other and keeping an eye on the kids. And the view of the lake is awesome! We didn't get the chance to get out on the lake, but hope to return to the Lakehouse in better weather so that we can.

Home does not have central air and the room units were not adequate to cool the home down. Issues with the unit on 3rd floor made for a very hot stay up there . Would not recommend going to this home in dead of summer. Also, entire home had musty smell.

Family vacation at Owasco Lake

The property was spacious, lovely and well equipped. We made so many memories around the dinner table, on the patio, at the lake and around the fire pit. The view was wonderful and having kayaks, a paddle boat, a dock and a deck at the lake made for much family fun! A few tips for future renters: plan to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags as “starter supplies” provided. Also, the air conditioner in the main living space is not enough to keep the large open space cool. There are a few fans but we added a few of our own and needed them while cooking. Windows can be opened to let cool air in but the screens were not in great shape. Overall, our time at the Chantelle Marie lake house was wonderful! Nikki was responsive to our communication and our needs. We would love to return.

Nice location

The access to the lake and views were amazing and the access to kayaks was a very nice bonus. The house is large and can easily accommodate a big family with a large kitchen. The outdoor seating was adequate to host our family. Cons: The house was extremely hot. No ACs were turned on and the house was 84 degrees on the first floor and got considerably hotter as you went up. The window units cannot keep the house cool and it was uncomfortable in several areas of the house. The house was not clean in all locations: the floors were very dirty and turned people’s feet black and the kitchen floor was sticky. There were spiders and spider webs all over the inside and outside of the house, and several bees were inside the house. There were limited towels, if you want a new one every day bring extras or bring laundry detergent. The hand soap in the bathrooms was so watered down and refilled with different soap that it was almost unusable. We had to buy our own trash bags and supplies, which for the price of the rental seemed an unfair ask on top of everything else. Overall, the number of bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate a large family on a lake vacation was a great space. But the temperature and cleanliness of the house did lead to some discomfort.

Perfect girls weekend

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Lake House. We stayed here for our 30th reunion and it was spacious and cozy. The outside deck was a nice place to relax and take in the beautiful view.

I named Chantelle Marie after my daughters, as Chantelle and Marie are their middle names. The love of my daughters and Owasco Lake has inspired me to build this lakeside home and share it with others. I hope for this to be a place where many will make new memories with their family and friends, just as I did! Nicole Kelly is my Venue And Property Director. The Chantelle Marie Lakehouse owns a unique and interesting history. Beginning its days as the Auburn Savings Bank located on Grant Avenue, the structure was acquired, dismantled and transported to be rebuilt in its current location by owner Christ Yantch. The integrity of the building still stands with original beams and woodwork.
