Pool House # 1 is located in a quite neighborhood 10 minutes from town center and the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house is furnished with kitchen basics, bedding, bath towels, laundry machines, and household supplies. This house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The pool is private for guests of this house only. Note: the pool is not heated. The first bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top. The living room has a sleeper sofa that is shorter then a standard full and would be good additional sleeping for a younger guest. There is an extra large carafe coffee maker, a BBQ grill, plenty of outdoor seating and a fire pit. We have multiple properties within walking distance of eachother. There are a few other rentals in the neighborhood, please be respectful of your noise level after sunset.
We do not supply charcoal or firewood, you will need to bring some or purchase locally.
There is a large
ravine in the back yard as well as a pool and many sharp cactus therefore we recommend young children have supervision at all times while outdoors.

The house is off a well maintained county dirt road suitable for any vehicle. We do recommend having a spare tire and equipment to change a tire.

Please bring along plenty of drinking water or plan to boil our tap well water.

Please be advised that use of any outdoor cooking equipment in or near any building structures (to include balconies, awnings, porches, etc.) is strictly prohibited as it presents a fire hazard. Any use of outdoor cooking equipment must take place on flat ground and a minimum of 20 ft away from any building structures on the property. Upon completion of cooking on any outdoor cooking equipment, guests must immediately and thoroughly extinguish the heat source.

Guests must use caution while walking on the property, especially at night when it can be very dark. Guests need to be alert while outside to avoid tripping on rocks, or contacting local vegetation (cacti, etc.) and animals (snakes, etc.). Guests, their children, and pets are strictly prohibited from entering within 15 feet of the edge of any cliff, arroyo, crevasse, overhang or similar elevated drop off.

Strict PET POLICY:
Pets are welcome but they must be included on your reservation at the time of booking. If you are booking for two people and one pet, please ensure that the pet is shown when you reach the confirm and pay screen. We ask that you and your pet adhere to the following rules.
Dogs are not allowed on the bedding or furniture. Pets are not to be left unattended in the room unless crated. You will be billed for any damages caused by pets in your reservation.

Please make sure that umbrellas are closed during windy conditions, and at your time of checkout. If umbrellas are damaged due to being left open, you will be billed for a replacement umbrella.

NO CONFETTI ALLOWED. There will be a $100 charge for us to clean up confetti.

This property is under a dark sky ordinance. Help keep the dark skies dark, turn outdoor lights off at night when not in use.

**NOTE** this house has well water that can, at times, have a strong sulfur smell. This is not abnormal, and not harmful.
