Dark-sky property, use minimal outdoor lighting at night.

Game cameras are on ranch feeders, troughs, main game trails, driveways, and the exterior entrance walkway. No cameras inside the home.

Land & fire
You can walk the ranch dirt roads on foot. Stay at least 15 feet from cliffs, arroyos, and drop-offs. No rock climbing. Do not collect rocks, plants, or firewood.
The fire ring is approved for small campfires. Bring your own firewood. Do not leave a fire unattended. No fires when it is windy. Put it fully out when you are done. Grills stay on flat ground, at least 20 feet from the house.

Wildlife
This is working Chihuahuan Desert. You may see mule deer, javelina, coyotes, aoudad, rabbits, lizards, and birds. Less common: black bears, mountain lions, bobcats, and desert bighorn. Rattlesnakes, scorpions, and other desert wildlife live here too.
Do not feed or approach wildlife.

Pets
Dogs 10 lbs and under only. Larger dogs scratch the hardwood unless nails are properly trimmed and we approve them in advance. Cats are not allowed.
Pets, including ESAs, should be listed when you book. The pet fee is added at booking. More than one pet: message us first. An undeclared animal can end the stay plus a $500 fee.
No pets on beds or furniture. Crate pets if left indoors alone. Leash outdoors. Pick up after your dog. Do not leave pet food outside.
