Nature lovers unite! Laid Back Vibe. Enjoy paddle-boarding down the tranquil saltwater creek viewing Osprey & Swans. The sunsets are Spectacular! Sip your fave drink on the screened porch, tour the neighborhood on bikes, & canoe down the saltwater creek. Just a short car ride to the beach. There are great restaurants & bars in the area as well. 👉Please refer to "Welcome Guide/Amenities" (scroll down to 'other') to find our list of fave restaurants, bars, & other activities in the area👈 Quiet neighborhood with no loud parties. Pets are welcome too! We do not allow crabbing or fishing on the property - although there are many close by spots to enjoy these activities. The studio apartment is underneath the owner occupied main home & has a private entrance. We give our guests privacy but are also available when you need us. The space is complete with fresh towels, linens, toiletries, and snacks. There is a full kitchen as well as a grill. Open the glass door to a wonderful large screened porch to read, nap, enjoy a cup,or eat outdoors while observing the tranquil surroundings. The backyard faces the beautiful National Edwin B. Forsythe Nature Refuge. A true gem!

We loved our stay here! It was sooo relaxing and Wendy has a bunch of activities you can do like kayaking, canoeing etc. Wendy was super helpful during our stay and we would definitely come back! Everything was super clean and it was a perfect place for us to stay. Good location too!

A hidden gem in LBI. Comfortable stay with all essential needs including some snacks and cold drinks. Nice touch everywhere. Backyard by the water is so amazing. Thanks Wendy for having us.

We had a great time, Wendy was very friendly and accommodating! The place was clean and loved the summer/beach decor & the backyard bay was so relaxing. The shower is nice and big too. The only thing I recommend is more outside/exterior lighting in the front of the house when parking at night, maybe a bulb was out? Other than that, we had a great stay!

Wendy’s place is such a hidden gem! Great location, right on the water. Saw so much wildlife! The place is very nice and comfortable and as described. Wendy was a great host and always available if something was needed. We stayed with our dog, who also enjoyed it!! Highly recommend this place!

My 15 yo son and I, as well as my dogs, had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location and quiet. Our hosts were wonderful. Got to do some paddling in the marsh in the wildlife refuge and saw lots of different birds, turtles, and otters. The swans have such personality! Would definitely stay here again!

Great little getaway!

We had a great time on our stay! Located just far enough from the cities to be quiet and peaceful, yet not so far that it’s difficult to do a short stay. Hosts were perfect, and helped us out in all ways. Highly reccomended, and make sure you do a trip through the waterways off the dock, using the free paddle boards!

Had a wonderful stay at the house. Thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. Wendy left us plenty of coffee pods and I enjoyed the morning coffee on the enclosed patio. Location is about 1:2 hour from beach. We stopped each morning at Big Apple bakery for fresh rolls and pastries.

Quiet water retreat

The property is located on a very quiet street on a peaceful creek. Sitting by the creek in the AM with coffee and reading a book was my favorite thing to do. The rental is equipped with all that you need, even beach chairs to take to your beach destination. We would definitely book again!

Peaceful

This property was exactly as the pictures showed. The owner was a sweet and friendly woman and was very accommodating to our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again in the future.

We had a great time staying at Wendy’s bungalow. She was always very responsive to any question we had. She left a ton of snacks which the kids loved and also left Cheerios for the kids to feed the swans with. Unfortunately, we had to cut out trip short since my daughter got sick but overall we had a great time.

West Creek is in a beautiful location with breathtaking sunsets and a relaxing waterfront atmosphere. The deck area was one of our favorite spots to unwind, and the complimentary kayaks made our trip especially memorable.The property was fairly priced, and we knew before booking that the rental was located beneath the owners' living space. However, we didn't expect the amount of noise that carried through, especially late into the evening. We frequently heard loud footsteps, chairs being moved, and what sounded like vacuuming well into the night. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep and left us feeling tired in the mornings.If you're accustomed to apartment-style living where hearing neighbors is expected, this may not be an issue. However, if you're a light sleeper or value a quiet environment in the evenings, it's something worth considering before booking. Overall, the location and outdoor amenities were wonderful, but the late-night noise from above had a significant impact on our stay.

Hi Genna Thank you for your review. I wish that you made me aware of this day one, so we could be more mindful. We have a daytime cleaning crew so no evening vacuuming but.... It is usually our cats who like to have a midnight party. If I knew that you were sensitive to the noise, I could have put them in their upstairs playroom. Please, for future reference, let your host know because we are busy working all day and cannot be in-tune to everything. Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it is not a party town. Its quiet and serene with beautiful sunsets and wildlife. Its close to a main town of Manahawkin where shopping is. We are just 12 minutes to the beaches of LBI. Finally, our quaint town has a 'back in time feel' like old time California. There are farm markets and open space. I have included photos of some of our fave local restaurants, bars and sites along with the main photos of our property.✨

What makes this property unique

We are located right in the middle of the National Edwin B. Forsythe Nature Preserve. We love our wildlife....Please no hunting, fishing or crabbing on our property. Swimming and water sports is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty here.
