The space is a freshly renovated villa that allows access to the amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort!

This platinum level villa is bright, welcoming and newly renovated! This unit includes a queen size bed, a comfortable queen sized pull out couch, a large TV with streaming services, Hulu Live, and high speed internet.
This villa includes a fully stocked kitchen!! It has a refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, griddles, a two burner glass cooktop, and microwave. We also stock a coffee bar with plenty of coffee, cream, and sugar to get your day started off right.

*******Please Note: This studio is located approximately one mile away from the main amenities of Rumbling Bald Resort.
Upon arrival, there is a notebook with all pertinent information about the villa, resort, local attractions and activities.

Housekeeping Supplies: Towels, bath mats, sheets, and dish clothes are provided for your stay. A starter supply of toilet paper, dishwashing soap, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also included. We also provide a starter amount of paper towels. If you need any other supplies during your stay, Highlands Market is very convenient, located at the entrance of Apple Valley Villa.

Please remove any used linens and place on living room floor. Please collect any used towels and leave in the shower.
Collect any trash and place in the bear proof trash can/box across the parking lot. All trash must be bagged.
Please wash any used dishes and leave them in the dish drain.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great hidden gem! Nicely decorated and good amount of items you need for your stay is provided. Quiet area and still close to resort amenities. We had trouble at check-in, but owners were quick to amend issues. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Weekend Getaway

My husband & I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Everything was well described about the unit, amenities, dining, & surrounding areas as it actually is. Super clean, quiet, well decorated, & well equipped unit everything you could need during your stay, including amenity passes & extra phone charging cords, as well as a notebook & books about things to do while in the area. We also had some awesome experiences with wildlife during our stay! Next time we’re in the area, we plan to rent this space again…it feels like home. I stayed in Lake Lore for a wedding, had a wonderful time. The area looks like it was built back in the 1980s, dirty dancing was filmed here. This condo had all the updates, it was small but very space efficient for its size. My friends stayed in other condos in the same complex that were not as well appointed. Overall, a great stay and I would rent again.

The place was very clean. I’m allergic and I didn’t have any problems. They don’t have wine opener but you could buy one in the store down the hill. Very nice place.

We love to visit Lake Lure at stay at the villa while enjoying the activities provided by Rumbling Bald Resort. We love to hang on the private beach, around one of the pools or play mini golf with our 2 children. We hope you enjoy the space as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Our villa is a well appointed comfortable space that makes it easy to relax in from the time of your arrival. There are many outdoor activities nearby to keep everyone in the family busy. Mom can visit one of the nearby wineries while dad takes the kids for a hike or swim on the resort property.
