GiGi's moutain lake Cottage

Cozy Cabin in Rumbling bald resort in beautiful Lake Lure. The home is located at the top of the mountain on a quiet cul de sac. All the resort amenities are just a short golf cart ride away. This tranquil retreat has three bedrooms, two and half baths, living area that opens to lovely screened/glass porch. Finished basement with large sofa, bar and games. Walk out basement opens to a large seven person hot tub. Plenty of quiet private space to gather with your friends and family.
The space
The home is very relaxing among the trees. Very quiet and private only one other home in the cul de sac. Easily accessible just two stairs to the front door. Kitchen is fully equipped. Outdoor grill available on the porch off the kitchen. Very cozy master bed and bath with two additional bedrooms. In the living room there is a sleeper sofa and an air mattress with linens. The bedrooms are all upstairs. Basement has a large sectional for additional sleeping ,bar, games and outdoor hot tub. Golf cart available to rent.

In the resort you will find restaurants ,entertainment, spa ,indoor and outdoor pools with a lazy river. You will also find tennis and pickleball courts, championship golf courses ,basketball ,kayaking, canoeing, boat rentals, and a sandy beach for sunning and lake swimming.

Bedroom 1 offers a king size bed
Bedroom 2 is a queen size bed
Bedroom 3 is two twin bed bunk begs

There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room as well as a large sectional sofa in the finished basement.

Fantastic place. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in forever. The hot tubs and game room were a big draw. Plenty of space and super clean. They really thought of all the little pleasantries. We'd definitely stay again!!!

The trip up the mountain was interesting but such gorgeous views! Darlene had great attention to detail and our beds were so comfortable! Our only downfall is that we couldn’t get the tvs to work but not a deal breaker. Beautiful property and views!

Hidden Gem

This is one of the nicest, most well appointed homes we’ve stayed in during our many trips to Rumbling Bald. It was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the glassed-in porch and the hot tub. The first drive in was a little tricky, but once we got the hang of it, it was easy to get on and off the mountain. Highly recommend.

A Restful Retreat

Our family of 7 stayed in this wonderful home to welcome in the new year. Everyone had plenty of space to rest and relax. Lots of games and hiking. Family meals around the table in the sunroom each day were a big highlight, and the hot tub was used multiple times each day. Thank you!!

The cottage is located at the top of the mountain. It feels as though you are staying amongst the tree tops. In just a short ride down the mountain you can have all the amenities dining and activities right in the neighborhood.
