A major construction project adjacent to Beach Walk HOA (not affiliated with the resort) is ongoing and expected to cause noise and construction traffic impacts through spring 2026.

The Marsh Point I elevator is out of service until January 31, 2026. This is the only elevator serving Marsh Point I. Dates are subject to change.

The Resort

The Unit
Discover these charming One-Bedroom Villas designed for maximum relaxation and comfort. This is the ultimate Edisto Island getaway retreat offering a spacious private bedroom, oversized bathroom with soothing whirlpool tub and private balcony. One-Bedroom Villas help you save a little extra by offering a fully equipped kitchen that lets you eat in instead of spending extra on dining out. The main bedroom will come with a king bed, there will be a queen sleeper sofa in the living room (Please note that depending on the unit you are assigned, the bedding may differ but the unit will be able to accommodate up to 4 people)

Great weekend retreat!

My husband and I enjoyed our first trip to Edisto beach. The accommodations were outstanding and gave us just what we needed. We definitely enjoyed the central location and being just a short walk to the beach!

We were extremely put off by the high pressure approach to attend a sales meeting offered by the resort. We were directed to a different desk on arrival to receive our welcome packet. ‘Miller’ would not take no for an answer despite 3-4 firm: no, we were not interested. If there was that much pressure to come to the meeting we can only imagine the pressure tactics if we attended that meeting. And had we known this was part of the check in process we would’ve booked elsewhere. The rental was basically clean but older with some areas of poor upkeep, like ceiling vents that were very dirty. Wyndham is off of our list of ever reserving again.

Place was as advertised. Very clean abs very convenient to everything we wanted to do abs places to eat. Was very clean and very nice. Only issue we had was shower faucet was not working very well needs to be replace had hard time getting hot water on. But would rent again in a heartbeat.

Great Property!

Clean, quiet property close to anything we would need. Easy parking. The shower was a bit small. While the whirlpool tub seemed like a nice idea, it was extremely loud. Would have rather had more shower room. Loved the pillows and the black out curtains. All of the little touches like clean cutting boards and coffee were lovely. We will be back!

We were excited about our stay because we love Edisto. We had stayed at several beach houses on Edisto, but it was just the 2 of us so we decided to stay here. We requested a couple of weeks in advance for a lower level place or one with an elevator. When we arrived and finally got to the unit, after 2 check ins, we were on the very top floor. My husband and I have back and knee problems so steps are difficult. Also, as I mentioned, 2 check-in’s. You check in downstairs then go upstairs to officially check in and then back downstairs to check in again and have someone try to pitch a time share purchase presentation to you. I found this rather disturbing as I didn’t know Edisto did these kinds of things. We.were also told by 2 different people that someone would come help unload or car. We are still waiting on them! We lugged everything ourselves having to rest between floors! Also, the unit was really hard to find. The map that they give you is not adequate, nor were the verbal directions that were given. We finally found it by luck. The unit itself was nice and clean. The bed was mostly comfortable. It was nice to have access to the pools and cabana but the cabana was really only useful for the restroom. And then I received a bill for 2 cents for a “rate adjustment”. Seriously?! Won’t make this mistake again.

Quiet barrier island in off-season. Lovely beach, nice hiking trails and nature preserve near by. Condos are comfortable. Heated pool a plus.

January Getaway

We have been to Edisto numerous times during the summer. We decided to stop on our way home from Florida for a few days to see what it would be like in January. We were very pleasantly surprised with how much of the island/resort was open in the winter! The unit was great-the bathroom could use some updating but everything was clean and in working order. We enjoyed some local restaurants, walked the beach and even got in a swim at the heated/covered pool. We love Edisto and will definitely be back!

All pluses but too pricey for that market, time of year, and according to published prices. By the time all the hidden were totaled I could have had a house on the point. I needed specifics to accommodate our purpose on Edisto and my wife's health challenges so I had to pay up.

I recently rented a one bedroom unit for a quick getaway. The unit is in a great location and a very short walk to the beach. I purchased groceries for my stay, the kitchen was well equipped with everything else. If you're thinking about renting on Edisto, definitely consider this location.
