We had a little miscommunication with the host where the hot tub was unavailable shortly before our trip but the multiple channels of communication with the host the caused the message to be missed. The host will send you messages through text, email, Avantstay app, and VRBO and I think it would be much easier if communication was centralized in one location. Overall communication was prompt but it just felt disjointed at times. Our trip was really nice and the lake being so close was a huge benefit with small children. The house was nice and the kids loved the game room.

Having the lake that close with small children in tow is such a benefit, and we're glad it made the trip easier for your family. It's great to hear the kids took to the game room too. Your point about communication is a fair one. Messages arriving across several different channels makes it easy for something important to get lost, and the hot tub update should have reached you clearly. We've shared this with our team, because a more centralized approach would serve guests far better. Thank you for taking the time to explain it so thoughtfully, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again.

Pristine Experience

My girlfriend and i had a wonderful romantic weekend getaway here. House is well maintained and the layout and amenities were well thought out. Plan to stay again. ONLY issue was the scent. Its not for everyone and we like a more neutral scent.

3 Night Stay

Overall very nice stay. House was clean and comfortable. Views of the lake were great from the living room. Enjoyed the outside fire pit, hot tub, little beach and game room. My few cons would be no shades in the master bedroom, kitchen could use some updating and one curtain fell in the living room. But overall nice stay and would stay again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Kevin! We're happy to hear you had a nice stay and enjoyed the views, fire pit, hot tub, beach, and game room. We appreciate your suggestions about the master bedroom shades, kitchen, and the curtain—those are definitely things we’ll look into to improve the experience. We’d love to welcome you back for another stay!

The property was nice and fit 6 adults comfortably with the spare loft area as well. The mini splits were great for temperaurure. Some of the rooms were a bit dark. Everything we could have needed was in the kitchen. The location backing up to the beach area was wonderful! We used the firepit, hot tub and outdoor shower and really everything the house had to offer which made it great for a family vacation! I would only suggest they add a book about the house and amenities and local offerings as we have stayed at many VRBOs and this is customary. I spent a while trying to find where the trash drop off was located because there was no such book. It also would have been good to have local recommendations in print.Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this property!
