Utica is home to this holiday home. Oneida County Historical Society and Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute are cultural highlights, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit North Utica Shopping Center and Sangertown Square. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Utica Tennis Center or Utica Memorial Auditorium.
We needed a good space with 2 bathrooms close to the Nexus Center and this property was about 6 minutes. I didn’t want to risk being too far from the Nexus Center if a snow storm came in. The house was clean and easy to access with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and off street parking. The host was very helpful with my multiple messages.
Check-in was easy and the place was very clean. There was wi-fi access available. Although they window A/C units and you had to turn the TV up to hear it. The biggest drawback was the neighborhood. The street itself seemed ok, but the area was shady.
Our brief stay in Utica was made super pleasant knowing we had excellent accommodations! The house appears to have recently been renovated so the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas were extremely nice and clean. Kitchen had all the amenities one would expect - plenty to prepare your own meals and eat in if need be. Two of the three bedrooms are on the second floor and the stairs are a bit steep (expected for an older house like this - just plan accordingly if less mobile guests). Parking was off street which is a definite plus. Not far from the grocery and the downtown area. All-in-all, this was an excellent choice and if we ever were to need a place in Utica again, we would stay here.
