Come enjoy this historic home on the water in the lovely and historic village of Sackets Harbor in the heart of the Thousand Islands. Enjoy all this village has to offer. Come see where Ulysses S. Grant trained his troops and FDR and Madison visited during their Presidencies. View the commandant's house on the battlefield overlooking Lake Ontario while you take in its breathtaking views. Enjoy the many festival and events throughout the year. Walk down to Main Street and visit charming antique and specialty shops or dine in one of the many restaurants. Take a leisurely walk or a bike ride on one of the villages many walking and biking trails. Enjoy swimming on your own private beach on the property or take a ride in one of the two double kayaks for use for the outdoor enthusiast. Travel to nearby villages and parks or the Adirondack Mountains. Visit Lake Placid, Tupper Lake or Saranac Lake or hike one of its 46 peaks. View the Thousand Islands or take a trip to Canada all a short drive away.
