About this property

Beautiful Lake House with Large Yard on the Shore of Lake Ontario

We are located in the North Country about an hour north from Syracuse and 30 minutes south of Canada where Lake Ontario meets the Saint Lawrence River. Located on Pillar Point, our rental is equipped to provide a unique year-round getaway. This is a true lake house that gives a more luxurious experience than a seasonal cottage. The owners are right next door giving you your privacy, but are also available to answer any questions you may have about the property or the area. This is a perfect location between Watertown, the Thousand Islands, Canada, and the start of the Adirondacks. Families will enjoy the big yard that runs along the shore. Fishermen will enjoy parking their trucks, boats, and trailers in the long private driveway. (We have accommodated 3 crews at the same time in the past and we have exterior receptacles for electronics plug-ins.) Everyone will enjoy the beautiful sunsets!

Fishing Vacation

The house worked out perfect for vacation. Everything was extremely clean and neat. The view is spectacular. During our stay a storm came up while fishing and the owner called to make sure we were ok and off the water. We really appreciated that. If we decide to go back, we will definitely stay here.

Great lake shore

with five kids, 4 thru 11, the water was a big success. We had two kayaks and two paddle boards which got plenty of use. The house is nice and well thought out but the yard is the best feature. No mosquitoes and very few bugs

Perfect getaway on the lake

We all loved the property very much. Excellent house and perfect location to be in the 1000 islands area. We were there for just 2 days and 3 nights. Everybody in the group loved the house. Definitely would love to come back when in the area. House was clean and exactly as described good for 8-10 people but we were just 6 so had ample space. Awesome big backyard for kids to play around The highlight of the stay was the firepit by the water. 5Starts to the property owner and the property.

Cozy lakefront home with a view

The home was right on the lake and had such a nice view and beautiful sunsets. We were able to use the campfire ring twice and enjoyed the firewood the owners provided. We went fishing in Pulaski, visited the Boldt castle, went apple picking in Mexico, NY, and saw Niagara Falls on the way home. The house was clean and well appointed and many thoughtful attentions to detail were noticed and appreciated. The house fit our group of 10 very well, and we would be glad to do it again. The owners were next door and were very friendly and accessible when needed, but also very respectful of our personal space and privacy. Definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone staying in this area.

Absolutely perfect lake house!

10 out of 10 in every category in every way! The most impressive part was how welcoming and helpful both Kristen and Stacy were. They thought of everything! This property is absolutely perfect! We loved the gorgeous, large property right on the lake with the most incredible views! The well organized lawn games were such a fun way to spend time with family! The floating dock was a hit for the older teens wanting to lay in the sun and the tweens for jumping in the lake. The huge open concept home was perfect to entertain our family and visitors! One of our favorite moments was sitting by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows, watching the fireworks all over the lake and our girls chasing fireflies! This lake house is the epitome of summer vacation.

Great cabin for family gatherings!

My husband and I stayed at this lakeside cabin for a week with our 4 young grandchildren, and the house was perfect for us! The owners, Kristen & Stacy, were so friendly & gracious, making certain we had everything we needed. The house was pristine. It had lots of options for sleeping arrangements, was fully stocked with kitchenware, games, extra beach towels, and the hosts even welcomed us with all the makings for s’mores - which we thoroughly enjoyed! The wrap-around patio and large, grassy lawn provided us ample space for outside games & activities. Families with young children do need to be mindful, as the shoreline is rocky and there is not a beach area for kids to play. Thankfully, the water is shallow, even off of the boat dock, but parents will still want to be cautious. We had a terrific week and will plan to stay here again when visiting our grandkids!

A Stay That Couldn't Have Been Better

My wife and I came to this property as it lay in the path of the April solar eclipse. Photographs on-line are accurate, but the property showed even better in person. Impeccable in every respect. In the notes provided to us, the owners said that they try to provide the perfect VRBO experience based on their own experiences with other rentals. To say the least, they clearly met that objective. Every amenity we hoped to find there was included. Owners state that the property can accommodate up to ten guests and was clearly equipped to do precisely that. Plenty of dishes and silverware, and everything was virtually entirely new; no mismatched hand-me-down stuff here. Every imaginable kind of kitchen utensil was available to us. Appreciated the fact that a Keurig coffee machine was included along with a regular coffee maker. Loved the Blackstone gas-fired griddle. Cooking on that was a real treat. If renters are looking for the perfect summer stay on a beautiful lake, one couldn't do much better than this.
