Excellent location
The condo is perfectly located. The beach can be viewed from your balcony and living room. The pool is right below the room as well. The beaches are amazing. The pool was clean. The pool could be crowded at times. There are two hours a day that are reserved for adults and lap swim. Bike trail is right at the end of the driveway. You are able to bike ride to ice cream, a few restaurants, and the lighthouse. A bike is a must as the traffic can be very heavy on the main road at times. We did drive to Captiva Island one day and eat at a quirky Mexican restaurant. We also visited the nature preserve and the sea shell museum. We went to the cinema as well. They show two movies a day. We bought our tickets in advance as the cinema is small.
The condo is starting to show its age. Initially, the condo appeared cleaned though the screen door was broken. The second day when I was in the kitchen, I found cockroaches or as Floridians refer to them as palmetto bugs. The dishwasher was crawling with them. I sent two messages to them. They did fix the screen. They never responded to my concerns regarding the bugs. I was also supposed that several beach towels were not supplied from the unit. Apparently, they are available for an extra charge. They did have chairs and umbrellas that could be used on the beach.
Overall, I loved Sanibel, but would not stay at this condo again.
