We had a wonderful time! The place was immaculate and the host was very communicative! Highly recommend and will be staying here again if possible the next time I am in the Waco area!
We were in town fishing a bass tournament. Plenty of parking, gated security and the best hosts! I strongly recommend this home to anyone, the zebra will welcome you!Thank you, we will be back!
Everything was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would add is that a few of the pictures didn’t represent the places we could access due to the necessary fencing for the animals. We weren’t always sure where we were allowed to go. But overall everything else was great. The house was beautiful and clean and the animals were fun to watch!
Our visit to Country Getaway was all we wanted and more. The Accommodations were bright, clean and spacious. The real treat was just outside our windows. Our country companions included deer, jack rabbits and the property owner’s zebra and miniature horses
My mom and I were celebrating our birthdays. We wanted something quite and secluded. When I found this place, it felt perfect, and it was. Ken welcomed us personally and was very kind. He even asked how my sick dog was doing. If you like amimals and enjoy nature, this is the place. They have a zebra, donkey, and miniature horses. They have an automatic deer feeder too. I was uo every morning before 6:45 am just to witneas the deer. I would absolutely stay here again.
