Cozy Casita with Nearby Lake Whiney Access

New construction 320 sq ft tiny house in quiet community with lake access from community boat launch or from Walling Bend Park, just 5 minutes away. House includes fully stocked kitchenette with 2-burner induction cooktop, multi-function microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. The 55" smart tv will keep you in touch and the quiet HVAC will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The propane Weber grill is easy to access on the large outside deck. You can enjoy stargazing while roasting marshmallows over the firepit. There is ample parking for your boat. The lake can be accessed by foot at the rear of the property for fishing or swimming.
Please note that during 2025 there will be periodic construction on the cabin remodel on the adjacent property. You will still have unfettered lake access and no construction should take place after 5:00pm or on weekends. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

Nice quiet place

I really enjoyed this stay for the fact it was very quiet & near a lake yet not too far from restaurants/stores. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Fishing trip highlight

The property was extremely nice, clean, and stocked with essentials. The fish were not biting for us, so this was the highlight of our father-son trip. Will consider staying here again if in the area.

Beautiful Casita

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and we were thoroughly impressed with the place. Everything was very modern including the design, kitchenware, and appliances. We made delicious Jalapeño poppers that we prepped in the kitchen and cooked on the grill on the porch and they turned out great! We definitely recommend this for anyone who wants quick access to lake Whitney and a nice clean place to stay!

Great little cabin

Great little cabin with a nice back dexk and propane grill. Also has a fire pit and thebhost provided the firewood which was very nice to sit around in the chilly weather. The neighbors dog also came over to say hi amd sit around with us by the fire. Has everything that you need inside.

Very clean, modernized, well furnished small Cottage

Perfect small cottage that we found "lived" much larger than the stated 320 sq ft. Recently renovated, it thus had all new appliances and creature comforts. Excellent simple floor plan that conveniently met all of our wants & needs. Highly recommend it. The host, Byron and his staff were really nice and made our stay very enjoyable. We will return there when back in the area.

Great place and manager!

The cabin was great! Just the right size. Lake is gorgeous. Fire pit was put to use. Byron thought of EVERYTHING that could be needed. Met Byron when we arrived, super nice and attentive! Great communication! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

Our Family vacation was a blast! We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake with the kiddos.. We sat around the camp fire and made s’mores and told campfire stories.. Played Board games and brought our cornhole game and made some amazing family memories with lots of laughs! Can’t forget the best part was watching the deers come up and eat!! The best views and an amazing scenery ♥️ Thank you so much for an amazing place to stay and with providing us with everything we needed to make our time the best!

So cozy and comfortable !

We enjoyed our stay at Byron's Casita 100%. Everything was so nice, new, comfortable ! Byron left out nothing from plenty of linens to ample snacks, water, a complete coffee bar. fabulous A/C, and a very comfy bed ! It was so quiet and peaceful there. There was a very nice gas grill and a fire pit outside . We completely enjoyed our stay . Only thing wrong was we didn't get to stay long enough.

It rained 75% of the time . We stayed inside most of the time . It was comfortable and relaxing there were games to play . Easy to keep clean and relax and catch up on some t.v.

Great Escape!!!

What a great place to get away, relax and have no worries. The cabin was cozy, inviting and had everything that you could need. Byron is an excellent host and has thought of everything in providing a great stay for his guest. The cabin had all the essentials and great a/c for the unbearable heat this past weekend. Quiet surroundings, with deer in the yard and a short walk down to the lake. A nice area for fishing and relaxing. We look forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy more time on the porch and the fire pit.

This place is wonderful; quiet and secluded, but there are other homes nearby. Had it not been raining, it would be a perfect place to sit out by the fire pit and watch the deer. The inside looks to be brand new and stocked with drinks and snacks. This was perfect for 3. I slept on the futon and it was very comfortable We didnt cook but it looked to have the basic cookery. If you like to cook gourmet you should bring some additional items. The bathroom and shower were just right. Magnolia Gardens and the Dr Pepper museum in Waco were about 45 minutes. We would definately stay again.

We Loved this Casita so much

Very enjoyable, so nice and cozy ! Everything we needed was provided, from coffee bar to water and snacks, plenty of towels, sheets were lovely to sleep in! Truly such a lovely tiny house, I want to come back here again. I need to find a mattress topper like the one Byron had on this bed ! I may not be able to sleep in my own bed now until I find just the perfect topper like this one was on the bed. The rain we had at night was so peaceful and welcome on that roof ! We cannot say enough about this beautiful tiny house ! From the beautiful wood floors to the ship lap walls and great blinds! It was truly a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend ! Great family time ti spend together. Thank you for a perfect weekend !

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived—the temperature inside was perfect. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
