This is such a nice place to stay that we even enjoyed it when it was rainy and muddy! Everything you need in a relaxed environment. This was a great place to stay while visiting family that live in Waco. I really enjoyed my morning coffee while and watching the cows and horse eat. Can’t wait to return.

Our grandkids rode in the Waco Wild West in 2023 and 2026. We stayed at Shady Acres both years and couldn’t be more pleased. The hosts are wonderful and very communicative. We had fresh eggs and comfy beds in the cutest house on the farm where we could say hello to the horses and cattle. 23 minutes to Waco…pfttt..,that’s nothing when you’re from Texas. I highly recommend Shady Acres!!

Want a relaxing place to stay by Waco? This is clearly the place. The hosts clearly care and send clear instructions on how to access the property and what to expect. There is plenty of room to play on the property or just sit back and enjoy the view. It is always nice to have some of the basics at the home, but they really do go above and beyond. This is one of the best places I have stayed in a while and would love to stay again. I am trying to see if we could take another trip this summer and stay again.

Beautiful Farm Getaway

This was by far the best stay we have ever had! The property was just gorgeous. We loved seeing the animals mosey around and the quietness of farm living. The house had such a homey feel. We will absolutely stay here again if we have the chance. Thank you so much for having us!
