We were very happy with our Vrbo rental. Joe and Julie were very easy to work with. We even got to take our dogs over to meet them. Everything is exactly as described on the Vrbo site. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor amenities were very nice. We often sat down on the Adirondack chairs looking out over the lake. Thank you for allowing us to rent your nice little cottage.

Property was clean and comfortable. Check in was super easy. Host clearly communicated all details needed. Lake access was less convenient than I had anticipated. And view hidden unless you are outside. It was beautiful once outside, however. Would stay here again anytime!

Cozy little cabin with a short walk down to the lake. Perfect spot to launch kayaks and hit the lake. Plenty of cool fossil remains along the bank of the lake!

Cute single bedroom cottage on hill facing lake. It was beautiful. The cottage was clean and had basics. Driving distance to town for groceries, eating out, and public beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

I sent the owners a pic of the ants that came out at night and were crawling in and around the toilet. They might need to caulk around the toilet AND the baseboards. That was an unpleasant sight at 2 a.m.!! I also texted themthat a funky odor comes from the bedroom window AC at times. Other than that, the house was spotless and a wonderfulRetreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was clean and inviting. The fishing decor was fun. Cooking was easy because the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The back porch and yard with view of the lake was lovely, just as I hoped it would be.

This place is a diamond in the rough! Well built home with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The neighborhood has a strange layout with a lot of potholes, so closely monitor the GPS to guide you.
