The house and property were absolutely beautiful and the little thoughtful touches like k cups for the coffee pot and paper plates were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay
This is a beautiful home. It was clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive in our communication. We would certainly stay here again if we have the opportunity.
This house was perfect for our group! We enjoyed how close it was to restaurants and shopping areas. The yard is large enough for outdoor activities, it’s shaded, clean and secluded. At night, the fire pit was great to sit around. The house was very clean and they even had their flag half mast for 9/11.All around a great experience.
Our stay was seamless from beginning to end. Property owner clearly cares and takes pride in their home. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, lots of amenities, and clean.
Weekend getaway with some friends and we loved our stay! The house is so clean and inviting! The outdoor area with the porch swings and firepit allowed us all to swing and catch up! We could have stayed out there forever! Can't wait to go back!
My sister, mother, aunt and I were in Xenia to do some genealogical research. This was the perfect location. The beds are amazing, the home was cozy and clean, and they even dropped off an HDMI cord so we could put our research on the TV instead of huddling around a computer. It was an excellent visit and we would happily stay here again
Our stay was wonderful, the home is beautiful and provided plenty of room for our family. We loved how close it was to everything and will definitely book again next time we’re in town!
Our group of women who all met working at a school district here in Ohio, had the best time at this converted old schoolhouse. The house was very comfortable and roomy, and we were amazed at the attention to detail. We took a trip to Yellow Springs, which was a short 10 minute drive. We will definitely recommend this house to friends and family.
From the moment we arrived it felt welcoming and cared for. The space was cozy, smelled amazing, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. Clean, well stocked with random things like coffee, medical kit, toiletries. Country setting but close enough to small cities and hiking. I contacted the owner about a non emergency question and was replied to immediately. Communication was great the entire time. Everything about our stay was superb! The sunsets were pretty amazing too!!
The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Worked well as we needed 4 beds for family on graduation weekend. We had a lot going on elsewhere, but wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the home and patio. Loved the history and what they’ve done with it.
The house was immaculate! Had not stayed in one that was this clean which was marvelous. The location was convenient in proximity to site-seeing. We had a sweet time.
We stayed for the weekend of Cedarville University’s graduation and were so pleased with our stay. The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, so tastefully decorated. My parents who were in town from Orange County Ca said they would love to the Midwest if they could live in a house like the schoolhouse. We loved our stay! 10/10 across the board!
The place was great!!! It was very well done, all the comforts of home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us! Close enough to restaurants & shopping but in a peaceful country setting. Would definately stay there again!
What a beautiful place. Clean, comfortable, roomy and beautifully decorated. Well supplied home made a great weekend getaway with our family. Easy drive to Yellow Springs and other nearby attractions. Hosts were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Thanks.
The Schoolhouse was perfect for our wedding weekend!
Our family loved the Schoolhouse and couldn’t have been happier with the proximity to Yellow Springs for our son’s wedding. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone! Kasey and Nick were excellent hosts and very helpful when contacted. I’d recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.
Beautiful restoration of an old schoolhouse.
It is decorated so cute. The fire pit area was amazing, it was truly a relaxing and wonderful stay. I can’t think of anything that would have made it any better!
We will definitely stay there again. Thank you to our hosts!
Super cute and spacious renovated historical school house. Listing was accurate and informative. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Kasey was easy to communicate with and very helpful! We will be back!
My husband and I got married at Ohio Renaissance Faire and we used this Vrbo as a place to meet up, rest, and get ready. Perfect 35 drive to the Faire. Super quiet and private with a short drive into town if you need anything. We will definitely book this place again if we have a group going to ORF.
Such a pleasure staying at this completely remodeled school house! This home comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay! The owners have provided many thoughtful extras throughout the home! We had a time enjoying the fire pit and custom swinging benches. The owners are super easy to communicate with and are very kind! We’ll be coming back to stay at this property every chance we get!
