Worst rental ever
There was not one positive thing about this property other than ease of getting in. I upon entering it was so musty and mildew that we didn’t even stay there the first two night. Owner told us to run the window air conditioners however one was so filled with dust and dirt we couldn’t use it. The water was sulphur water (which was never mentioned in description)and the odor never went away. My good rings all turned colors, one being a platinum wedding band. The property was listed as waterfront with lake view, not even close! The host offered a partial refund and in turn I said that I wouldn’t write a review but they returned a paltry pittance considering the state of affairs. I wouldn’t have even stayed the other days but my adult kids were coming and we needed a place to stay and no hotels in the area had vacancy. My one son suffers from pulmonary hypertension and thank God he only had to stay one night. We all left congested and feeling il. We need not had coffee and toast while staying there in order to spend as little time possible in this rental. I have been renting properties in Mayfield and Northville for the past 12 years and have never written a review like this. And how they can be listed as a super host is beyond me.
