Bright and sunny open concept apartment. Newly remodeled with tons of windows, stylish furniture, local art for sale, and easy access to everything Athens has to offer.

Your hosts are a childless couple who live downstairs with their friendly dogs and a cat on premise.

The space
This is an auxiliary unit in the UPSTAIRS (not ADA accessible) of our home with a private entrance. Access is through the sunroom which is equipped with outside seating and dining area in a bright and peaceful space.

Fully equipped kitchen including serving dishes, cookware, and a coffee station.

Your host, Becky, is a James Beard nominated chef, who is currently taking a step back from her full-time career to focus on her home and family. If you're interested in breakfast, dinners, or cooking classes you may book them by messaging your host in advance of your stay. All cooking/meals are based on Becky's availability.

Hot Tub & Fire Place: The hot tub onsite is not included in a regular booking, but if you are interested in using the hot tub or fire place (located next to the hot tub) message your hosts. If it's available that evening you may add it on for an additional fee.

If you are bringing a pet you must agree to our pet rules, and your pet must be cat, dog, and human friendly!

Adorable place
Cute studio apartment had everything you could need for a short stay. They allowed us to use their back patio as well for a few celebratory drinks after my son graduated. The views of the apartment are beautiful and everything was charming. I didn’t want to leave.

Becky and Chris are a well traveled couple who enjoy creating a welcoming space in their home of Athens, OH. Chris is from Seattle originally and Athens is Becky's hometown.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is the perfect location to feel safe and comfortable in Athens, but still be a 30-40 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to all the action of Uptown Athens.

It's tucked in one block down from Sells Park, which accesses 27 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, or just a quick stroll. It's the perfect location to bring your dog.

Our home is also just a few blocks away from East State street, a major artery of our town where you can find grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping.

What makes this property unique

The completely remodeled the space a few years ago. It's our home and a passion project, not a quick flip. Every detail was thoughtfully designed and built. We display local art on the walls and have many local products for use and for sale.

We live downstairs. We give our guests privacy with electronic entry, but we are also nearby should you need anything.
