We were in the area to do some hiking, the cabin is clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet, lovely woods just outside the door. My 16yo loved the loft.
Overall pleased with the whole experience. The owners is super nice and helpful. Check in and out is so easy. Would definitely book again when visiting the daughter in college or just hiking
We are a middle aged couple who went to the Mardi Gras cabin to escape reality for a bit. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary soon and traveling back to the Athens area, where it all began felt right.
The cabin was clean, all the necessary amenities were provided. Bed was comfy and the shower hot. We used the communial hot tub and it was easy to get to and use. The cabin had everything we wanted and were very pleased.
We loved this adorable cabin! Beautiful location, owner is the nicest guy ever. Clean, spacious, comfortable and charming. Met our needs perfectly. Would highly recommend.
My son, dog and I came out to escape the fireworks. We stayed at the Mardi Gras house and it was perfect. Quaint, cozy and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and peaceful with the added bonus of a wonderful grounds keeper. Jason has a magnetic jovial personality that made our experience even better by sharing his bee keeping and plant knowledge with us. I would definitely recommend experiencing and exploring Morning Dew Hops Farm.
We were in the area for our daughter's masters degree graduation at Ohio University.
Beautiful property. Wonderful theme and decorations. Very quiet. The sound of the birds was very enjoyable. The view of the night sky was very impressive. You can see many constellations and stars.
Would recommend to family and friends.
All in all, a wonderful stay.
The cabin and property are beautiful and quiet. Love the location and atmosphere! The hot tub is shared with other cabins on the property and is not located at the cabin. The shower curtain and some of the dishes were dirty. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay ! Would stay here again especially because we now know the layout!

Uncomfortable bed, cheap sheets
The bed was very uncomfortable. Sheets were old. Pillows were thin. The quilt in the bed seemed to be a hundred years old. Neither of us could sleep. And the hot tub is an outdoor walk away which we didn’t want to do late at night (while wet). A hot tub on the deck of the actual house we were in was what we wanted.

What makes this property unique
The quiet rural setting makes this the perfect spot for getting away from it all. Morning Dew Hop Farm also offers a hot tub, centrally located and available for the use of all guests at no extra charge, as well as a Himalayan salt cave and a wood-fired sauna (ask your host for rates.) Both cabins have a gas grill (propane is provided) and there's a fire pit for use by all guests. Cell service is extremely weak but both cabins include free WiFi. Snuggle up and watch a movie, enjoy a beautiful view of the stars, or explore our 23 acres of woods and farmland.
