We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs. For insurance reasons, we cannot accommodate the following breeds (or mixes of these): Akita, Chow, Pit Bull or Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Shar-Pei, or Wolf Hybrid.



Guest Access:

The cabin is all yours to enjoy, with the exception of a cabinet in the bathroom that is locked (and used for our cleaning crew).



The Neighborhood:

An all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during the winter when it snows or is icy.

Great little getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a nice little getaway before the holidays. The cabin was great, very clean and cozy. Not far from Old Man's Cave and the Moonville Tunnel, and the sky visibility was great for stargazing

Overall we had a great experience staying here with it being pretty close to hocking hills and other attractions around, the host was excellent and helped with some power outage issue we had one night, although it would have been nice to have a backup generator at least for the fridge and restrooms, we had plenty of ice to keep our food from going bad but other than that everything was on point

Very peaceful, clean, and private cabin

This property was a perfect private getaway. It is about a half hour drive to Hocking Hills, but there are some very nice less traveled hiking trails about 10 minutes away. There is one other cabin on the opposite side of the property, but plenty of privacy. The cabin has lots of beautiful unique characteristics with hand hewn wood, wood floors, and a great deck. Everything was very clean and well equipped. And the property is dog friendly! Owners were also easy to communicate with and very responsive. I will definitely consider coming back!

We loved the authentic hand-hewn construction and back private deck.

We had a wonderful experience. The cabin is meticulously kept and well equipped. We spent some mornings on the front porch swing and some evenings in the well maintained hot tub on the private back deck. Our only suggestion would be to put a couple of those Adirondack chairs on the back deck to chill with some coffee while looking into the woods. We will definitely visit again in the future!
