Kick back and enjoy the thoughtful touches of our updated Fern Hill Cabin! With an excellent location just a short 10-20 minute drive to Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man’s Cave you’re close to stunning Hocking Hills attractions. Or you can simply explore the 38 -acre property. Amenities include: hot tub, gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit patio, 2 player arcade game, Wifi, & fully equipped kitchen. Comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Guests and dogs love staying with us! Newly updated furnishings so your stay is comfortable and carefree. Please note, there is a spiral staircase from the upper to the lower level. Our charming cabin offers great perks being close to Hocking Hills attractions and some trails on our property to enjoy as well!

The cabin has an upper level that hosts the fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy fireplace area perfect for reading a book! There is a main full bath on the upper level and also 2 bedrooms, one queen with an ensuite half bath, and one full bedroom.

Down the spiral staircase to the lower level you have a large living room area with a 65" smart TV, a 2 player arcade game, board games and puzzles in the hall closet and a sliding barn door to close it off from the upstairs if you so choose. There is also a large third bedroom on the lower level with a queen bed and a full bathroom is available on the lower level as well.

Outside you have a number options: a deck off the upper level great for a morning coffee, a hot tub, a firepit patio area, a large yard great for getting energy out of dogs or children, a wonderful patio out back that has a outdoor dining table and a charcoal grill and last but not least, our woods have trails for exploring as well and highlight the beauty of nature! Our dog loves visiting the cabin, exploring the yard, relaxing on the deck, and sniffing everything possible along the trails!

The pet fee is a per dog fee. Additional dogs require an additional charge.

Lovely wooded cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this property surrounded by woods. Very clean, all the amenities and the hot tub was big enough for 6 people and very clean. Communication with host was alway immediate whenever there was a question .Highly recommend.

We met family for a birthday celebration weekend. The cabin was so cute & cozy feeling. The 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms worked great for us. The hosts had everything we needed readily available & we really appreciated being dog friendly. Hocking hills area is beautiful & hosts provided a nice book of area attractions.

Absolutely perfect girls weekend getaway!

We had the most perfect stay at this cabin - it was roomy, cozy, warm, and equipped with everything we could need. It felt very clean and homey and not like a rental. Zero complaints - would definitely return to this cabin if we do another weekend in Hocking Hills.

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

The cabin is top of the line regarding beds, furniture and decor. 2-1/2 baths made it easy for 4 adults. Beautiful! Our dogs enjoyed the property and nearby trails. We would love to rent it again sometime.

Birthday/Father’s Day Family Celebration

What an amazing property! We loved taking our dog on the private trails and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub both nights we were there. So peaceful and private. The cabin had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal. Beds were super comfy after some hiking in Hocking Hills. The hosts were easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions. We would love to stay at Fern Hill Cabin again!

Fern Hill Cabin (8/31-9/3 in 2020)

Cabin and location were nice. Enjoyed our secluded vacation there away from the world of COVID19. Experienced a few issues during stay. Coordinated the issues with the owner who was very willing to help and did so expeditiously to make it right.

Great Location

My family of 5 stayed here for a short trip to Hocking Hills with our 3 dogs. Communication was great with our host. The location was easy to find and close to all the things we wanted to see. The winery right down the road was an amazing bonus based on Laura's recommendation. The guide book at the cabin was GREAT and much appreciated. The house itself was comfortable and we appreciated the wood for the fire and the kitchen ammenities. Would love to see it in the fall.

Weekend getaway

Stayed here with a few friends and my dog. The property was great - very clean and lots of natural light! Well stocked with items to make the trip more enjoyable. Laura was a great host, very friendly and easy to communicate with. Some small trails to explore near the house and just a short drive to hocking hills state park. We also tried the winery - just about 2 minutes up the road and really enjoyed that! Would definitely recommend !
