Pool Heating FAQs: Pool heat is available October–May for $150/day and June–September for $100/day, with a target temperature of 82–85°F, as long as air temperatures remain above 35°F.
A few important details to be aware of: **Pool heat must be requested at least 48 hours prior to arrival so it’s ready for your stay. **The pool must be heated for the entire reservation. We’re unable to heat for select days, as the heater must be turned on prior to arrival and it takes approximately 24 hours to bring the pool up to temperature. For this reason, pool heat is charged per night for the full stay, even if you plan to swim only on certain days. **This is a heated pool, not a hot tub (though we do have a hot tub if you’re looking for truly hot water).
Winter Weather Note (Please Read Carefully): **During winter, the pool is equipped with freeze protection. When air temperatures drop below 35°F, the heater automatically shuts off and the pool will cool. The longer the heater is off, the more the water temperature will drop—and the longer it will take to reheat once temperatures rise again. The pool will not begin heating again until the air temperature rises above 35°F, and in colder conditions it may take most or all of the day to reach the target temperature. In these conditions, the pool will not maintain the target temperature of 82–85°F. As a result, there may be only a short window of comfortable swimming, even though the full heating fee still applies. **Pool heating during colder months is highly weather dependent, and in some cases, heating the pool during this time may simply not be worthwhile. **In our experience, a heated pool in winter is usually more of a novelty for kids—our own kids will happily jump in even on chilly days. While 85°F sounds warm, that temperature refers to the water and is often not as warm as it sounds, especially once you’re out of the pool. When air temperatures are below 50°F, most adults tend to prefer the hot tub, which provides a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Great spring break trip to Blue Ridge, thanks to this wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful, spacious and clean. Communication with the owners was great, and the area so beautiful. Would stay here again!
We loved this property, the privacy it provided, and the amenities. Faith was an amazing host and is 10/10 for communication and information. Highly recommend this rental for any occasion.
Walked into the house and my toddler immediately clicked on the fireplace with a remote. Shower and bath are great. The bedding was comfortable. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. It's a fairly secluded rental built for hosting off a gravel road among similar properties. Neighbors are close. It had some damage and cleanliness issues. We rented in April and for the price, heating the pool would've added value to the stay. Black out curtains would've been great. Cleaning fee should be lower considering the list left for check out day.
Had a wonderful stay with family. I was extremely delighted to see that the tree and stockings were up. It was a pleasant surprise since our stay was the week before Thanksgiving, so it really got us in the holiday spirit. The place was clean and plenty of cooking pots, pans, pyrex, utensils and even a slow cooker. The smores and little dog treats that were set up were a nice touch and the kids and fur babies enjoyed them. Enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful view from the master bedroom. The Hoping to come back again to experience the cabin and the pool in the warmer months.
Our group of friends have been coming to this part of the country for 20 and have stayed in all types of accommodations. We collectively agreed this was the best lodging experience we've had. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen (inclduing smoker, pizza oven and grill) was well-equipped. The pool was inviting and the view was icing on the cake. The host was communicative throughout the process. We're already talking about staying here again next year!
The view here replaces the draw to any device. This property has the most beautiful sunsets. The cabin was stocked with lots of extras in the kitchen, if you are a cook. The extra towels were great for the pool. We spent most of the day in or near the pool and by the outdoor fireplace. The host was very responsive to questions This is perfect place to check out from the world and recharge your batteries. Feeling refreshed :)
We enjoyed staying at this property. Plenty of space for the kids to play and adults to have their time. The host thought of everything and tons of items are provided for your stay. The one thing I must add is the master bedroom as beautiful as it was it did stay very cold due to high ceilings. The rest of the house was warm and toasty but the master wouldn’t get any heat. Also when we visited the construction next door started early around 8am and was quite loud. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay and already talking about visiting again in the summer. Don’t hesitate to book this house!
We stayed at this property for 4 nights. It has the most beautiful views; the swimming pool and the hot tub. The property manager Faith is absolutely amazing and wonderful. The rooms have everything your heart desires and the kitchen has more utensils than you can imagine. We enjoyed the pool table and spent most of our time by the pool. We did not use the grill, pizza maker or the coal grill outside but it was all there for us. Also, the outdoor fireplace and the fire pit are beautiful. The list of amenities goes on and on!! Faith has done a tremendous job in upkeeping the property and I am very grateful for her to be always available and a phone call away, if needed. Thank you Faith!!!
