This condominium offers all the comforts for a relaxing visit to the Smokies. The master bedroom has one king bed and the guest bedroom has two queen beds. The master bath as a step in shower and a large jacuzzi tub. The guest bath has a shower/tub combination. Our fully equipped kitchen offers full size appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. All kitchen utensils are supplied along with glassware, dishes, silverware, and cookware. All linens are furnished. We also provide ample free parking.

Much needed getaway

The condo is roomy, well equipped and very enjoyable. I liked sitting on the balcony and listening to the waterfall.

Honestly for the price I wasn’t expecting much, but walking in, we were shocked! The unit was so much bigger than we thought it would be. We LOVED the balcony! That view from the balcony but being right downtown Gatlinburg was great. We didn’t have to drive anywhere if we were staying downtown. We will definitely be back to this place again. Also, thank you for the complementary Country Tonite tickets! The show was great! I have included photos with views from our balcony.

It provides bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen area and laundry. All of this makes for a more relaxing experience than having just a single room available as would be in a hotel. The small pool Located in a secluded spot is nice anytime of day or night. The location is superb, being on the creek side, as well as only two blocks from the Main Street in Gatlinburg.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 209 needs a lot of cleaning and a complete renovation. Too many things broken, dirty, bugs, mold which is dangerous. When I asked to be moved was told I would have to pay for up grade. Then I was offered a 3 br unit that had just had a new floor put down and the smell was very, very strong from the adhesive used and I had to decide what was more likely to sent me into an Asthma attack. Chose to stay put. The location is great. Too bad owners are not required to keep up their property. Apparently management doesn’t do inspection.

However, the place is getting older and the prices keep going up so I may be forced to research other locations. I look for the VALUE I receive for the dollars I spend. The value at Park Place at one time was really good.......now, not so much. We still like Park Place and hope they do not price themselves out of the market (at least for me).

But the condition of the property has clearly declined. There are examples of lack of maintenance all over the common areas.We own rental condos in other areas so are familiar with what is reasonable . The unit we stayed in could use renovation. Formica countertops and spotted carpets with 20 yr old white appliances doesn’t work anymore except for tenants seeking only cheap accommodations. Worst, there was hair in the tub, the kitchen floor was sticky, and several day old, moldy, coffee was still in the coffee maker.
