Splash experience

We loved the location of the property. Loved the balcony. It was nice having the extra storage space in the bedroom. Also loved having restaurants in the vicinity of the pools. It definitely needs to be cleaned better. The corners of the rooms were dirty. There was a lot of dust around the bunk beds. The rug in the living room was full of sand. The area around the water and ice dispenser was moldy. My little granddaughter is actually the one who looked up there and seen it. And we were never able to get in the hot tub because most of the time there was about 20 or more people in it. It was never enforced to have the correct number of people in it. The water in the kids play area where the bucket is was very cold.

Amazing

We enjoyed our stay very much. No complaints here communication was great check in went smooth. We had the 6 of us 2 adults and 4 kids and it fit us great with GREAT VIEW! Got to even see dolphins swimming off our balcony. We definitely will be back and would love to stay here again next year for spring break!

Quick Get Away

Just needed a break from the winter at home and decided to come down for a few days. While it was a stormy and cooler trip than we are used to we still enjoyed our trip here at Splash. The pool area is unmatched, and the heated pool was very much a necessity for us to enjoy our trip.

At no fault to the owner, the association needs to to a little work. Outdoor paint touch up, especially on the doors. Need to clean better were you get on the elevator.

Was gave wrong number to enter

Tried to get in with the code given. It didn’t work, tried calling to get correct code. Even had security man trying it,but no luck. Security man tried to call, no answer. Had to go to another place to stay on vacation. When got home made several calls before getting a hold of someone. Will have to think before using this service again. Thanks

Not clean

The condo was not very clean, but I did contact the owner and he offered to have someone come clean it the next day. By that time, I had already clorox wiped everything and washed some of the bedding. There was a suspicious stain on the couch and over all wasn’t a comfortable place to stay because we knew it wasn’t that clean. Everything else was good

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The only thing I will say is that a few things need to be replenished and the cleaning could be a bit better. There was no dish soap in the kitchen and there wasn’t any extra toilet paper. Also no cleaning supplies, like Lysol. There was also sand in our sheets and on the bunk bed steps and bunk bed base boards. Overall we did have a good time. After we bought Clorox wipes and swept and vacuumed, I felt a bit better.

Great place for family

We had trouble a couple of times with our door code but the owner replied back to our messages very quickly to resolve the problem. Everything was exactly like described and the pictures. My son loved the hot tub and kid water play area. Also it has a restaurant by the open pool (riptides I think) very good food. The chairs and umbrella at the beach coat $100 daily but it was included in the room cost so that’s a good extra bonus

The Best trip!

The hotel was nice. The room was fantastic! It had everything we needed to have the best week. The master bedroom had a FIRM bed but we still worked. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great location. Checkin and out was simple, parking was a breeze. The amenities were all working and held all of our kids attention for the whole week. We loved being able to use the chairs at the beach that were provided. My only suggestion would be to bring a mattress pad or extra cushion for the pull out couch. It was pretty rough but the smaller kids didnt seem to mind, an older or child or adult would feel all the springs. I would definitely stay in this unit again. Communication was super quick as well.

Welllll elevator

Alll the reviews about how awful the elevators are doesn’t prepare you for 45 min lines and trying to take the steps and hurting all week because you walked 19 flights. But otherwise, the room is perfect and super spacious! Only problem we had was it wasn’t clean when we arrived, but cleaning lady came and cleaned quickly.

Not the best but not the worst

Well we get there at the time we are supposed to check in. We put our code in on the keypad and it doesn’t work, so I reach out to the owner and she responds to me about 15 minutes later. She tries to get me to trouble shoot the keypad and nothing is working, she then calls someone from the property to look at it. Meanwhile we have been standing outside the condo for about 45 minutes with a 5, 8, and 9 year old. Someone comes and opens the door so we can atleast get in. So I send a text to the owner letting her know we were able to get in. But we will not be able to get back in if we leave. She asked us stay in the condo until someone can look at the keypad. We waited and it was another hour. So finally they come and we can leave to go get dinner because at this time it’s about 7pm the kids are going bananas because they are hungry. They were not able to fix the keypad, owner sends a text saying someone else is coming to look at it but we don’t have to be there. We back to the condo about 930 ish and the door is open and no one to around. So the kids are getting ready for bed and I’m concerned bc the door can not shut or lock because the person who was fixing it took the handle off. Well about 30 ish minutes later the man comes back and he does fix it. So instant problems with the door so much time wasted. The cleanliness of this place was not good. The lock on the balcony door didn’t work, which concerned me about safety for the children. I will not stay here again.

Overall this stay was GREAT,we just had a few issues that we wish we knew ahead of time,so hope this helps someone else plan better!We drove 17 hours from kansas, with 4 kids, arrived at the condo at around 7:30ish,&the signs in the parking garage say to get a parking pass or youll be towed,but the office that does that closes at 4pm. No mention of that in the welcome email from the owners,so of course I messaged them right away and asked if we were ok to do it in the morning, no answer.We just hoped our car would be there in the morning. It was, and everything was fine to get parking passes the next day, but we were kind of stressed all night. Owner answered late morning the next day after we already took care of it. We would have appreciated a note about it ahead of time. Otherwise it was super easy to just enter the door code and be in. A few minor inconveniences you might want to be aware of: only a 2in1 "conditioning shampoo" was provided as the toiletries, and only 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom.With 6 people for 4-5 days,it doesnt last. We had already gone to walmart when we arrived,so we were a little put out to have to make another trip for these things,so bring your own! If it was noted in the welcome packet,we could have planned. Plates and cups are glass-with kids on tile floors it was nerve racking,so we bought paper plates etc -Also,we like our beds plush,and this bed was extremely FIRM Otherwise, BEST VACATION EVER and great location,so thank you!

My family and I loved our stay here! This room was so beautiful and the view was to die for! My boys (2,4,6) loved it! The manager of this room was amazing with instructions and it made arrival so smooth! We will be back next year and plan to make a yearly trip here!
