The Basics: Oceanfront; excellent 180 degree ocean/beach views from dining/living rooms and front porch; location in the sparsely populated 'east end' of Holden Beach; sleeps eight comfortably; classic tongue-and-groove wood paneling; modern conveniences such as Central A/C & heat; Wi-Fi; cable TV with DVD; one full and one half bath inside plus enclosed, outside shower with hot water; master bedroom has lavatory and mirror. Seven can sleep in three bedrooms and one in the sequestered cot at the end of the hall.

Lovely Beach House

We had a wonderful family beach trip at Crowd Inn. We wanted to stay in a classic Holden Beach cottage and the house delivered. Everything is so well organized and we found everything we needed. Very cozy and quaint. Warren the host was in regular email communication to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great Location!

This property is exactly as promised! Great view from the front porch and proximity to the beach is fantastic. Part of our week was very hot, so we loved having the covered porch to sit and enjoy the beach without being out in the hot sun.The house is cozy, clean, and we enjoyed the new seating area under the house. We stayed here with our sons and nephews—eight adults total, and had a wonderful time. We loved that we communicated directly with the owner and had no issues at all. We will definitely be back to the Crowd Inn!

Wonderful!

The best thing about this house is the LoCaTiOn!!! It’s oceanfront with a little gravel drive and the walk to the beach access is absolutely nothing. Just a few steps. The house takes you back in time. It’s humble and sweet. The owners were amazing. Communication was great! They worked with us very well! I would love to come back! We want two weeks next year. My only complaint was that 1 week just wasn’t long enough!!!!

Amazing location

Our family has been to Holden Beach several times and love the family atmosphere of the area. This property has a great location and view of the ocean. The house is a short walk across the private road to the beach. My husband and I loved spending time on the porch, watching the ocean. Our children loved the games, puzzles, and toys that were there. The outdoor shower had hot and cold water. There was a Brita water dispenser in the refrigerator, which was an awesome plus for my family since we love drinking water. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. Checking in and out was very simple. We would definitely want to stay at the Clayton Inn again.

The owners grew up 60 miles from Myrtle Beach but prefer the quietude and overall family atmosphere of Holden Beach.

The Crowd Inn is located on the quiet east end of the island, more quiet and less densely populated than most areas of Holden Beach and certainly other beaches in the Carolinas.
