About this property

Lake House

Enjoy wide-open mountain and lake views in every season—wild poppies in spring, snow-capped peaks in winter, and an unobstructed view of Lake Isabella from the wraparound deck. This cozy home sits on a private one-acre property, so you’re not crowded by neighbors and can truly relax. Step right outside and you’re hiking, and the kids will love the on-site tree fort. You’re also just about a half mile to a newly remodeled café/store and gas station for easy snacks and supplies. Inside, you’ll find full laundry, a convenient beer fridge, and a wood-burning fireplace with plenty of free firewood.

The space

Recently repainted and partially remodeled, the home is well-kept, comfortable, and very clean.

This place looked awesome from all the pics. I’m sad we weren’t able to stay there. The host never contacted us with check in instructions and VRBO couldn’t get a hold of the host either. Too bad :(

We originally bought this house for our own family, and we still stay here often. Because of that, it’s stocked the way we actually live—everything we use when we’re here is here for you too. It’s not a scarce, generic “rental property.” It’s a real home with the extras most places don’t have, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because it’s up the hill in one of the nicest areas around Lake Isabella, with a sweeping view over much of the lake from the home’s big wraparound deck. It also sits on a large lot, so you don’t have houses right on top of you—it's quiet, private, and feels like your own space.

What makes this property unique

What makes this place truly unique is the real 360° scenery. A lot of homes advertise “views,” but here you’re surrounded—Lake Isabella and the lake out front, snow-capped peaks in season, and mountains wrapping all the way around behind the house. Wherever you look, it’s pure nature.

And because you’ve got desert sun mixed with mountain elevation, the area changes dramatically from summer to winter—so every season feels different, with something new to enjoy each time you visit.
