Good place to get away from normal daily grind. New Blackstone grill was nice and worked great, the campfire ring was a nice touch given burn restrictions were lifted the previous week. The kids tented outside and plenty of yard room for our two dogs.

Pet friendly cabin with completely fenced in back yard. This property couldn’t be any closer to the river! You hear the constant peaceful flow of the water adjacent to the cabin. This was the Perfect location for fishing the San Juan River and Navajo Lake and it was stocked with everything we needed for a weekend getaway (coffee, snacks, clean towels, A/C, WiFi, etc.) check-in/out was seamless and host was very communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an amazing property if fishing is your priority. The house is neat and clean but the outside property is kind of dumpy. Unless you sit by the river (outside the property) or on the little deck on the second floor, you can’t enjoy the beautiful view. The listing mentioned that there was a coffee maker and there was not one, nor is there a place nearby to get coffee. The bed upstairs is comfortable but the sofa/futon was stiff to sit on and pretty tough to sleep on. The kitchen was suitable and the water pressure in the house is great. If fishing is your goal, it’ll be a good retreat. If enjoying the scenery is important, you’ll have to do it off property. Double check on that coffee maker if it’s something you’ll like to have.

Cute Hummingbird Cabin

Cute little cabin, right on the river, quiet, and quaint. Perfect for two people - my daughter and I stayed here and met up with my parents who were camping in the area.

Location

Property was a short drive to Navajo Lake and on the San Juan River. It is at the end of a road so very quiet. There is a large yard that could accommodate several cars and tents should you need more places to sleep.

Great location on the river

The property was at the river bank. Flyfishing spots were easy walking distance. It was at the end of the road so no traffic noise. Large trees shaded almost the entire property. The lot was large enough to pitch a tent for additional family.

A-frame on San Juan River

We had an awesome time! Fished quality water as well as water outside fence of property. Well maintained property with river just outside gate. My husband had to sleep on futon because of recent knee replacement and restroom being on ground floor. He did not sleep well. Bed upstairs was really comfortable.

🌲 Our family of three, plus our dog, loved this cozy cabin near Navajo Dam. It was incredibly quiet and comfortable—a true escape! Pros: * 🏡 Very Cozy & Pet-Friendly: Perfect size and setting for our family and dog. * ✅ Great Amenities: Everything listed was provided and worked well. Area for Improvement: * ❌ No Internet: Listed Wi-Fi was unavailable. Be prepared to fully disconnect! * 📱 Slow Host Communication: Responses were polite but often had long delays between texts. Overall: Fantastic, quiet retreat. We would definitely stay here again! (10/10 for comfort, 6/10 for connectivity/communication).
