This is the second time staying in this house. We LOVE this house. It is so cute. The pool is perfect for kids. The front porch is great for sitting, and the bathroom is immaculate.
We really enjoyed our stay- the Home was very clean and spacious. The location was superb in regard to being near museums, shops, restaurants, and the Air Force Base.

This is a huge home. The rooms were accurately described. Some paint chips in the master bed room and paint peeling from the ceiling in n the master bathroom The place did smell like an old stuffy home and didn’t look like it had been cleaned. The neighborhood was also a little suspect. That being said once we cleaned the house and freshened it up it was all in all a good time. We had no issue with neighbors and it was a quiet area. The pool was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Truly enjoyed our stay. Close proximity to local educational attractions. Safe haven a we left Florida during the hurricaines. Thank you for your hospitality!
Morning coffee outside, morning breakfast outside cafe style,, large master bath/ dressing area, hit casino 20 min drive not bad, afternoon in pool exercise or relax, rest, dress ,hit casino evening time. Nice beds to rest in and do it all again!
This beautiful old house is so charming & comfortable! It was perfect for our week-long stay in Montgomery— the pool made it so fun for the kids. The owners were very responsive & accommodating. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Montgomery.
Great house, backyard and pool. Awesone neighborhood. Convenient to everything. Excellent communication with management team. Would use again if in the locale. Absolutely recommend.
Very spacious. Had extras! Pool was awesome with the kids! Dogs were happy with a fenced backyard! Excellent communication with the owners. Easy check in and EASIER check out! You don’t even have to strip the beds yourself! Thank you for an excellent stay and if we ever come back to Montgomery we will hope your home is available!
Pros: great communication with property manager, very prompt and efficient when we had an issue with some stained bedding. Pool was great. Lovely front porch for morning coffee. Hot water, clean towels and a laundry room was appreciated.Cons: This home needs a deep clean, not just a surface wipe down. Kitchen could use additional items, can opener, tongs, more than one baking sheet, hand towels for drying dishes. We used all the paper towels provided to dry dishes.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
First the good things: pool was pretty nice, though totally full of leaves and flowers from the nearby trees, and we had to clean it when we first arrived and each time before swimming. It was otherwise a nice pool experience. The king beds were comfortable, the small bed was very hard. The sheets and towels were clean, and the neighborhood seemed mostly safe and quiet, except for a few drag racing type sounds at 4am Sunday which woke me up. Bathrooms seemed clean at first. What needs improving: the couches were stained and old looking, especially the one in the dining room, which needs to be thrown out. The carpet is old and dingy and needs replacing. The kitchen is outdated and not at all stocked well. We could not cook at all and could barely prepare food honestly. Silverware was lacking and cheap. There were plenty of plates (also cheap) but they were put away wet, and we had to rewash and dry them all before using. Counters were not clean. We used our own chlorox wipes to clean everything daily. No cleaning supplies were furnished except dish cleaning supplies and trash bags. The worst: There were roaches outside all around the pool in the evenings. They were inside as well in the kitchens and bathrooms. It made me want to leave and find another property, but we really wanted a pool, so reluctantly stayed. We were there 4 nights. The owner should not rent this place out anymore. It needs much repair. Mgmt company seemed fine, I had no problems with them at all.
The house was close to everything. We were close to Maxwell AFB which was most important for us. We were in town for our son who graduated from officer training with USAF. The house had lots of amenities that was convenient washer, dryer , laundry detergent, dryer , sheets, shampoo, conditioner and body wash with was great. It saved us from trying to find a store after arriving so late. The neighborhood was very nice and pleasant. It was a nice change of scenery compared to our California living. The pool was nice, sad we didn’t get a lot of time to enjoy it with our busy itinerary. Bedrooms were nice, clean, comfortable beds and smart TVs. Overall if we are in Alabama again we would definitely comeback to this house. The host were very professional and punctual with our concerns and questions. 10 stars!
I would give it a 5, and only for the owners response to communication, price, and cleanliness/prepared from when we arrived. Definitely a 4.But the actual place was old and very much creeky and lil spooky. I would definitely say it was weird that upstairs was not available/ locked from anybody down stairs…definitely would suggest that the owner do something about that stair pole in the hall way. Literally like someone was standing there every single time we went from kitchen to hall was walking in kitchen and saw something in parochial vision.
