Our stay was absolute paradise! We loved the "off the beaten path" vibe. All the amenities to us were top notch, and it was a breath of fresh air from the crowds everywhere else in Florida.

Needs Updating

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ants everywhere, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms. They got into all our food on the counter. Room needs to be updated. Looks like the living room TV broke so they added another one without taking the broken one away. Could not get the sliding door open so went in and out through the bedroom. Turning on a light in the kitchen and blew a fuse in the bedroom. Very outdated.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. We understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with ants throughout the villa, especially with them getting into your food, along with the various maintenance and electrical concerns. We’re sorry that the condition of the villa did not meet your expectations. The issues with the sliding glass door, kitchen lighting, and televisions are certainly not the experience we want our guests to have. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so they can be shared with the appropriate teams for review. Your comfort is important to us, and we regret that these issues took away from your time on the island. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we need to improve. We hope you’ll consider giving Palm Island Resort another opportunity to provide you with the relaxing and enjoyable vacation you deserve.

The overall stay was wonderful. The building was being worked on, so we were not able to go out the back door, which made it a little inconvenient. The shower head had rubber bands around it to hold it together. There were plenty of boogie boards and buckets. The beach was beautiful.

Beautiful island and comfortable condo. The pool and hot tub were open and lovely. The walk to the beach is beautiful. We loved the sunset view from the screened porch. The beach is shallow and very calm- perfect for littles. Would come again. The ferry is convenient- be aware that the resort provides a punch card for the ferry that you need to keep in the car or you will be charged. There is a bellman at the entrance to help you get luggage and groceries to the condo. Next time we will rent a golf cart.

If you want to get away, this is the place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I wanted a place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life and that is exactly what we got.Our apartment was clean and close to the pool with an excellent view of the ocean beyond. We decided to rent the golf cart and what a difference that made. I would strongly recommend renting the golf cart to get around and explore.Other than pool and beach there is not much to do and leaving the island is an option but just make sure you get back before the fairy makes its last trip.

Relaxation! Just what we all need more of, so happy you spent some time with us. And yes, there is a curfew on off island time.

Love Palm Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall my Vacation rental was great. The Kitchen utensils could use a refresh they are pretty worn out and in poor shape. I know most people don't cook but we did make breakfast and one dinner and we just had to make due. Also the Grills outside would not get hot enough to grill a steak so we just finished it in the oven. Overall the unit was nicely furnished and very comfortable.
Response from VrboOwner on 19 September 2021
Thank you. Our homecare team will check on those utensils and have the grills checked. We hope to see you again.

Dream Location in 10 years Fishing Boca Grande

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Outstanding facilities with a south seas island ambiance. Deb at check-in was very positive and made us feel welcome. Also,Jamie at Coconuts was very friendly, professional and provided us great service. Same for Dustin at Rum Bay. Only negative was the ferry service. A double ended ferry with one way driving straight forward and off with tug working along side would speed the process. Sunday service very slow.
