Amazing View on the top of Ski Mountain - 3 King Suites - Game Room

Escape to the Smoky Mountains at Touchdown's Treetop Chalet! This luxury three king suite / three and a half bath chalet is perfect for couples and families. Offering tremendous views of the Great Smoky Mountains, Touchdown's Treetop Chalet is only minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, downtown Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

This magnificent chalet features a large game room with a pool table, HD TV, wet bar, and stand up arcade game (Miss Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Galaga, and many more!) Guests will also enjoy sitting amongst the treetops in the 6-person hot tub on the large back porch. Because of the spacious design, each King Suite offers privacy and comfort. Every suite has a full bathroom, television, DVD player, and king bed. One of the suites even has a gas fire place and private balcony overlooking the Smoky Mountains!

A large sunken living room with a gas fire place and 65in Sony 4K UHD TV and Blu-ray player is the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, hiking, or white water rafting. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room allow for dining in, and the charcoal grill is great if you'd like to grill out. Laundry facilities are just downstairs in a spacious laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.

All Touchdown's Treetop Chalet guests are eligible to enjoy the privileges of Chalet Village Owner's Club which includes the use of all 3 convenient Chalet Village Clubhouses with pools, baby pools, pool tables, and tennis courts, complete with snack bars to enjoy a full day of fun. These are all located on Ski Mountain, pools are open May - September and are only available to Chalet Village Guests. Please see Guest Services at check in for clubhouse locations on the map.

*Fireplaces are disconnected from April - September

Fantastic family fun vacay!!

This chalet is absolutely beautiful and a great deal for the price. Enjoyed having so much space, the mountain views, game room...so great to enjoy getting away to peaceful after tourist stuff...onlt saw a momma and baby black bear one evening, very cute

Touchdown Treetop CHALET

The chalet is a nice, quiet, and relaxing. We had a wonderful time. Love the fact that all king bedrooms had their own bathroom. The game room was nice and entertaining. The host was very friendly and amazing helpful. If you need a place to unwind—this is it. Enjoy and God bless

Absolutely Beautiful

Wonderful views of the mountains. Loved the layout of the home- game room had everything and more. Three king suites with personal baths. We met the local bear families, Wild Turkeys and other furry friends. Not far to downtown or Pigeon Forge. This place does not disappoint. Thank you for being such an awesome host.

House was awesome!!

Location and view were beautiful. Wouldn't change a thing. House had everything we needed for our stay. Saw several bears during our stay. Loved it!! Beds were comfortable and the pillows were high quality. Very quiet location on culdesac. Been awhile since I've driven in the mountains. Took a few trips to town to get used to it again.

HOUSE WAS GREAT, NOT WELL KEPT NEEDS LOTS OF REPAIRS, NOT CLEAN WELL BUT VIEW IS FANTASTIC. KITCHEN IS SMALL ONLY TWEO PEOPLE CAN FIT IN THERE. BEDROOMS ARE GOOD, BATHS ARE GOOD AND BEAR WATCHING IN OCTOBER IS FANTASTIC.

Relaxing and gorgeous view!

This has been my favorite VRBO! The chalet is so comfy and I love how every room is decorated. The drive up is intimidating, but so worth that view. This property is exactly as described. We stopped at the local grocery store, Food City, before checking in to be sure we had all the food we would need for four nights. So glad we did because we did not leave the chalet until check out and there was plenty for us to do and boy did we make so many memories. We saw bears daily. We used the hot tub everyday, which was very clean when we arrived. We shot pool and darts and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room watching shows together, just unwinding. Check in and check out was super easy.

Great location and fun game room with comfy beds!

The location was GREAT and the host was an excellent communicator! The kids and adults loved the game room. There was plenty of room and the hot tub was clean. The house is well loved. Do not expect picture perfect paint or floors that don’t creak. This house is a comfort able older vacation home. The beds were comfy and we did use the grill. ( We are bed snobs). Wish it was a gas grill for the convenience but we were just glad to have a grill. AC/ Heat worked well, Internet worked fine- no issues. Again, host was extremely responsive and quick to make sure everything was taken care of. If you go to Food City, (local grocery) be sure to get the extra care card- we saved $50+ and it was free and took 5 minutes to sign up. Visit the National Park- even the kids loved it and all the stops inside the park. Get the Dollywood fast pass -you won’t regret it.

Bears!

We came for our first vacation with our 5 months old daughter. The house could accommodate way more than just the three of us but the price and the view were too good to pass up. We saw one bear on the day we arrived and had another sitting on the road sunning himself the morning that we left. We also had one open our car door and rid us of some potato chips which was entirely our fault; we forgot to lock the car after unloading. The washer and dryer are awesome...better than the ones I have at home. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking tool/utensil imaginable. Although we didn't stay in the downstairs bedroom it was my favorite and the fireplace was beautiful; we just couldn't see staying down stairs when everything was upstairs. All three bedrooms are very spacious and have big bathrooms attached. We had our daughter's pack n play in our room with us and there was still plenty of room to walk around. We plan on returning and bringing more friends or family with us.

Absolutely loved the house and location. Saw about 15 bears come past the house in the 4 days we were there. Located at dead end street so no through traffic. House had absolutely everything you would need for your stay. Owner communicated well. The drive has a few tight turns but well worth the drive. You are literally just minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains.

This property was both gorgeous and comfortable. Located high up on one of the most beautiful mountains surrounding Gatlinburg, the view from the back deck was breathtaking! The home was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a relaxing and fun stay, including a game room and a hot tub overlooking the mountains. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you had. I highly enjoyed our stay and recommend this property to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area.

Day before check-in the property owner sent a message giving us the door code and a run down of the check-in/out requirements. (Wasn't much at all). We unpacked and watched a couple bears from the kitchen window. They came almost immediately to see what was happening. Kept our distance for our safety as well as the Bears. Please make sure you lock all the doors because Bears will get in your vehicles. The Hot tub was nice and cleaned when we arrived. the view from the balcony is great. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen equipment, living room and game room amenities. The bathrooms are a little outdated but definitely not a problem at all. Overall out stay was a 10 out of 10! Will be coming back for years to come.
